The second one isn’t nearly as good or graphic as the first idk wth y’all were watching lol the bedroom death scene is so over to top ridiculous, getting sawn from the cooch down I assure you any woman would pick the bedroom scene if they had to choose which death they’d rather
@@winnie-yw3kbshe just survived although she gets infected with whatever evil that influences him. However in this movie he was just a regular human with an insane pain threshold. He doesn’t become supernatural until he is resurrected.
Second one is waaaaaay better. It’s amazing! And has one of the best, longest, graphic deaths maybe ever! May be the longest slasher movie too. Can’t wait for the third. Btw, the actress who gets hung upside down has a podcast with Dead Meat James called Scream Dreams.
You probably havent heard so much about this movie because everyones talking about the sequel lol. That one had people vomiting in the theater, i unfortunately was in one of the theaters where it happened 💀💀
Honestly I don't like the over the top gore but making someone vomit seems excessive. That scene in 2 was bad but it wouldn't make me vomit. I would however punch someone if they puked on me 😂
Yeah, Leatherface, Michael and Pinhead were independent with there first movies before major film studios came along and gave them big budget sequels. Jason, Freddy, Chucky, Ghostface and Jigsaw were the only slasher villains to be backed by a major movie studio from the start of their filmography.
@@ItsAPrimatee They don’t have to be mad at you, since they are all mad in their own way. Which are you likely to survive during the five minutes. No special abilities from any of them.
Here’s why you should watch the Terrifier 2: The first Terrifier was just a showcase of what Art the Clown could & can do it was a love letter to all the old slashers and all the creators of horror. Damien Leones crack at doing a full length film and making Art a todays horror icon. Sure the budget was extremely low, the plot was meh, the dialogue was meh but again it was showing what Art can do. It grew a huge cult following a fan base and he put a indegogo campaign and he made Terrifier 2 with the fans money showed it in theatres and made like 11M. Imagine that 250k - 11M. People fainted, puked, ran outta the theatre, and some were “possessed”. The story, quality, and kills are even more greater in Terrifier 2. And with Terrifier 3 under way Damien is gonna make it even bigger cause he’s making it with almost a 10M budget. He’s a really smart creator and I for one am on for the journey. He said he only wants to do a trilogy so I’m excited to see where it goes.
@@Chriswallace0405horror movies have always been about shock factor, regardless of gore or not. That doesn’t mean there aren’t good story horror movies, but I think it takes a back seat most of the time.
I agree for the most part. But this and the second one just felt like they were purposely trying to make it as sick as possible. If that's your thing fine I guess. I just don't get it
This one is low budget ($35,000 to make} and intentionally grindhouse style. Grew a pretty big cult following. Terrifier 2 was entirely crowdfunded @ $250,000, had a limited release in the theaters and made over $15,000,000. You have to watch it! It has more of everything, especially character development and arguably the best final girl in modern horror.
this movie whas a vey low budget movie.....i think it whas 35000 dollars.....dut the director of the movie Damian Leone did all the special effect.....no CGI...no greenscreen...he made all the props himself.....that is why it took so long to make this movie...although it is a shortfilm.....thanks for reacting
You think the gore is crazy in this one part two is even gorier part 3 just wrapped filming for a October 25 2024 release date Art is gonna dress as Santa You want some clown that isn't so bloody look up hell house LLC franchise but do part 2 of terriffer one love
Havent seen the second but the third one smh the trailer looks wild ..so much so that different companies declined to work with them bc of how bad the opening scene is considering how its grown with such a low budget ..yikes..if you haven't check out the second than the trailer for the third
@@Frostbyte23xI haven’t seen it I watched a RU-vidr react to it, it was blurred, the entire screen was red…. And the RU-vidr I watched them react to, he threw up……
I’ve seen the bedroom scene and it was disgusting but haven’t seen the whole movie heard it was a lot better then this one which this was good but kind of cheesy the acting
The director did basically everything for this and the second one. Practical effects are his passion and he did them all. So gifs and great for an independent film. The second is my favorite but, I love them.
Terrifier is huge in the horror community. I feel like it is a saving grace for people who prefer creepiness and gore to the kinda new wave of horror. I'm not saying they're bad but Hereditary, Midsommar, and Mike Flannigan Netflix series are heralded as modern masterpieces. To me, they only seem to be popular because they are more consumable or digestible to mainstream audiences. Me, I like unique and creepy.
Love this series and can't wait for the next one! Both movies are great and I think Art the Clown is up there with all the other slashers like Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees.
I love to see people discover this movie for the first time. It's such a fantastic movie. One thing about the end is that Art did die when he shot himself, but when the lights flicker and go out in the morgue he is resurrected by a dark entity. So he might have just been a psychotic human being in a clown costume before his death but then something brought him back to life. Great reaction!
Finally someone else who understands the ending of this movie. Because many people don't want to understand or believe it. Even after I tell them that on the audio commentary with Damien Leone himself. For this movie confirmed it they just refuse to want to understand it. Yeas they literally an figuratively say that Damien Leone doesn't know what hes talking about. Even though he literally and figuratively created Art the clown an wrote an is writing every single thing with Art the clown in it. But people say he's wrong just like people say that John Carpenter doesn't understand his first Halloween movie. Along with Michael Myers the character he created an wrote an directed the movie around.
I remember going into this movie for the first time, really out of curiosity not thinking it would be all that good but I was just so hooked from the moment Art showed up on screen and just amazed at how outrageous the gore was in this film. To this day I give this movie praise.
so i don’t mind these movies with the gore, idk who recommended this movie to you, but i don’t think you’d wanna see the second one with the bedroom scene, that’s all i’m gonna say. i mean we’ve both seen game of thrones and there’s alot of stuff in there that’s pretty gore too. i’ve seen the last kingdom which is the show you said you’d check out i hope there’s some pretty gore stuff in there as well, but the show is awesome too.
Bro I never thought you'd ever react to this. Glad you did though, even if monetization is as dead as the rest of the poor people in this movie. Can't wait for the 2nd one tho. In a good way, it's even worse than this.
Remember the "Cat Lady's" (That's her name in the credits, I know there were no cats in the movie) doll's name, Emily, Art's first victim was a young girl was named Emily, I reckon that woman was Emily's mother. You're going to freak the F out when you see Emily in Part 2.
There is more from Art the Clown in the film All Hallow’s Eve which is on Shudder right now. Terrifier 2 is even more graphic and one scene is EXTREMELY over the top sadistic! The third installment takes place over Christmas….
This is the absolute only time I would condone this, but they would have been better driving away drunk. I would have rather died in a car accident than be put through what they went through. Also, I really hope you do the 2nd one if you haven't already. I like 1, but 2 amps it up and has become one of my favorite horror films. Art is an icon! And the 3rd one is coming out this October!! I can't wait.
What Im about to say is backed up by the writer and director an creator of Art the Clown. Along with every single thing with Art in it on the audio commentary for this movie. Art was a normal human with nothing supernatural about him in any way shape or form. In the beginning of this movie when he first seen Tara and Down. Then at the end when he put the bullet through his head it officially killed him 100 percent dead. That wird electrical stuff in the morgue was a supernatural force resurrecting Art back from the dead. Then an only then making Art supernatural. Because as Damien Leone says in the audio commentary for this movie. At some point every slasher killer goes supernatural. So in the start of this movie Art is a normal human with nothing supernatural about him. Then he offs himself then a supernatural force resurrects Art back from the dead making him supernatural. Wich Art didn't know about or plan on he planned a one way trip to the after life. But a supernatural force has other plans for him. As Damien Leone said about Art he said. Art loves to turter people both physically and mentally an muck and ridicule them an kill them slowly as possible. For his own amusement basically its like his version of watching a movie for fun. Damien Leone has it all planned out as he was writing Terrifier 2016 he was already planning Terrifier 2. When he was writing Terrifier 2 he was already planning Terrifier 3 an maybe Terrifier 4. He said if he can't finish Arts story fully in Terrifier 3 he will make a Terrifier 4. To fully finish Arts story. Now this an Terrifier 2 an Terrifier 3 are independent movies. They are also what is called hardcore horror movies wich are known for extremely brutal and bloody and gory kills. Basically the writers an directors of these kinds of movies don't care about the movie ratings bord. Thats the difference you are used to mainstream Hollywood movies. One may audio commentaries an bonus features I listened to and seen. The writers an directors say they hold back because they want a R rating for their movies. Like for example on the audio commentary for the first Scream movies. Wes Craven said it was supposed to be more bloody and gory. But they toned it down to get the R rating but people like Damien Leone see the R rating an laff at it an go all out. They hold nothing back an show it all on camera. Then this is why Damien Leone starts his movies like he does. That why no major movie studio with want to have nothing to do with his movies. Basically Damien Leone wants nothing to do with mainstream Hollywood or mainstream movie studios. So he will never work with them so by making the first 5 minutes of his movies. Like this it saves him the time of turning them down. Basically Damien Leone is fully in control of his movies he answer to no one. He wants to keep it that way he rasise the money by gofundme an independent investors an things like that. Then he finds people that will only release his movies an nothing else they. Get no rights to the movies or anything in them.
Oh man... you're in for a treat. Art the Clown is slowly becoming the new slasher favorite. But most people are not aware that Art actually first appeared in All Hallow's Eve, which was more or less kind of similar to films like Trick r Treat. He appeared in all of the short stories, causing some kind of mayhem and chaos. Terrifier is when he really got to let loose and show off what kind of killer his. What I found rather interesting is despite never speaking, he is VERY expressive and emotional. He enjoys his work. Another thing that's interesting is that the line is often blurred to what or who Art is. Is he supernatural or not? Some say yes and others have different opinions. Regardless of what, we all know one thing: Art is very entertaining to watch and knows how to put on a show! Plus, he's really funny in a sick and twisted way, similar to Freddy. Yes, you should watch Part 2. Its so good! When you do, watch the post credit scene!
Say what you will about Terrifier 3's trailer, it might have been disturbing but it did it's job, now everyone seems to know about Art and doing reactions. There's earlier films featuring Art, The 9th Circle made in 2008 was his first appearance, not fully realized but recognizable as Art. The original Terrifier short film came out in 2011. Then they did All Hallows' Eve in 2013 which was a full movie based on the 9th Circle short. The full length Terrifier, the one you're reacting to in this video released in 2016, it's technically the first "official" appearance of Art in his finished form and the first in his series as the previous appearances aren't canon in these movies.
@@Chriswallace0405 Small channels that the algorithms ignore have done it. I've seen them react to movies like Dead Snow, The Horde, It Stains The Sand Red, but that's why they're small channels, they don't follow trends and do their own thing. People want "sameness" a sense of familiarity and feeling that they're in on something so movies suggested by Patrons are usually popular seen by a wide audience with big stars and budgets and they'll watch 100 reactions to the same movies and suggest the same movies on every channel they send $1 to. That's why bigger channels with large subscriber bases rarely touch small budget movies, they just follow the same trends as everyone else or start a trend, in this case he's starting of a reaction trend that other channels will follow rather than following one where he's the 276th reactor in a month to do it. But the truth is Terrifier didn't start trending until the trailer for Part 3 grabbed headlines a month ago for insinuating that Art murdered a child on Christmas Eve and was covered in their blood as he ate the milk & cookies.
That's crazy I had no clue this movie existed but I was over at a girl's house the other night and she put it on and it was a cool slasher ngl. I'm glad things worked out the way they did now I can re watch with primate!
