Fun Fact: After the movie premiered, children would frequently recognize Raul Julia as Gomez Addams out in public, which according to him, always brought a smile to his face. Julia stated that Gomez Addams was by far his favorite role and his family said this recognition was especially meaningful to him in the final months of his life, because he loved performing for children and making them happy whenever the opportunity presented itself. RIP Raul Julia. Music Enthusiast Fact: Originally, the "Mamushka" scene was supposed to be longer, with a full song describing brotherly love, and both Gomez and Fester naming other famous brothers. Test screenings revealed that audiences felt this song brought the movie to a standstill. The film shows an edited version with only Gomez and Fester dancing, and Gomez throwing the knives at Fester. The full song can be found on the motion picture soundtrack. The extended version of the scene was released on the 2021 Blu-Ray. He Is Fester Fact: The actors were concerned about the ambiguity of the big Fester storyline. Initially, it was going to be unknown if Gordon, the man suffering from memory loss who looks just like Uncle Fester, was actually Fester. The cast members nominated Christina Ricci to give an impassioned plea to Scott Rudin and Barry Sonnenfeld two weeks before shooting, that Fester should not be an impostor. Sonnenfeld remembered that the only cast member to not care was Christopher Lloyd, the man playing Fester.

Two things. You should definitely react to the sequel: Addams family values. And second, the original idea in the movie, was going to be that Gordon really wasn’t Faster, but he basically became a member of the family. But the rest of the cast we’re so against it, that the actress playing Wednesday herself. Went up to the Director to voice the casts displeasure with the idea. So the script was changed, so that he really was Faster. And the lightning strike to the head jogged his memory.

If you want Disney movies I'd say A Goofy Movie if you've never seen it. Underrated and actually genius.

I'll put out a recommendation for a Disney movie, That Darn Cat, specifically the 1997 remake, starring Christina Ricci who played Wednesday in this. It was filmed near my home town, and during their down time, the cast and crew all rented videos from the Blockbuster I used to work at. Alas, I wasn't on shift the day Christina came through the store.

Echoing other comments, the sequel is actually more entertaining (though disclaimers for... "of its time" moments, like this movie. But if you enjoyed this one then the sequel is better) Good reaction :D I love prettymuch every version of The Addams Family. Apropos of nothing, but based on this reaction, you might really enjoy The Legend of Vox Machina animated series, season 1 is out and S2 drops this month. :) I see that you don't really have animated series or TV in your videos, so maybe just as something to watch in your own time.
