I'm gonna be the first to admit it, I wasn't on board with Robert being the bat, but I'm also, going to be the first to say that he shut me the f*ck up, he did an amazing job portraying both Bruce and Batman, and the only one in live action besides Adam West to have the God-damned no killing rule and actually following the damn thing, wait, I might be lying, been so long since I watched them but I think both in Batman forever and Batman & Robin no one died because of the bat
I think Adam West did kill a few people but he's excused because at the time Batman was still killing in the comics. It took them a second to pin down the character motivation 😂
Since everyone carries their own sins, including the poor, the film uses symbolic scenes to convey deeper messages. In one such scene, the city is submerged in water, representing the cleansing of all sinners through baptism - even Batman. His emergence from the water marks a transformation, signifying that he is no longer driven by vengeance Remember, Batman's enemy also says, 'I'm vengeance.' This highlights Batman's mistake. His initial identity as vengeance was flawed, and the film uses this to show his need for transformation.
There's been versions of the batsuit, specially in his first years of crime fighting, the are more armored, focused of being bullet and knife proof. Later he realized that that extra protection make him slower so he changed it. He started using a suit that was lighter but with Kevlar mixed within the fabric, and with padded joints. Also the bat logo is to drawn enemy fire to to chest and upper body, which is the most reinforced part of the suit.
Batman is a human without powers but he's far from a regular guy. He trained for years all around the world to dominate all aspects of crime fighting: detective work, forensics, interrogation, spy craft, fear tactics, physics, chemistry, engineering, martial arts, Scape arts. He studied all types of martial arts and even created his own style. He also studied with ninja masters.
46:35 his whole thing is that anyone can be saved that includes criminals and killing anyone would prove to all the bad people that the only way is death and pain, there’s the whole thing of best way to beat a monster is to act more human
same, this is the first movie that truly emphasises the world's greatest detective aspect of batman and they respect the no kill rule. Batinson is the best live action batman as far as i'm concerned
