This is the reaction to the next Indonesian Martial Arts Blood and Gore Splatter Movie called The Night comes for us which is actually a Netflix Funded and produced movie. And holy mother of whatever, this movie is brutal... starring Iko Uwais and Joe Taslim.

15:49 Big fact: the flames used in the scene are real flames. So Timo Tjahjanto did not use Cgi or special effects in making the fire. The stuntman in the scene was indeed burned alive.

Thats clearly visible, the problem with that scene is that you can clearly see that those guys are stuntmen, and you can see that they are wearing fireproof suits.

@@LeechTMReacts Even though that scene looks strange to you. But for me, that scene is pretty cool for an Asian action film. I haven't seen people burn alive in Asian action films in a long time.

16:54 finally you ask thats thing, so basically iko using 'pencak silat'( indonesian martial art ) then joe using judo ( japanese martial art ) thats why joe better with using their body to more power and iko more using fast move also with circle move but actually pencak silat not do punch in floor, we can see iko always lose fight if he fight in the floor(not stand fighting)

this one is meant to be a trilogy or at least there will be a sequel that's going to be more focused on Julie Estelle's character The Operator

Bobby call himself white guy because he's a mixed british, and all his friend called him Bule (foreigner/white people). Actually it's more like a mockery here in Indonesia to call those who born of mixed blood. And of course all the Chinese descendant here doesn't want to be called Chinese too. It's because they're Indonesian, and they also born in Indonesia. That's how high their nationalist attitude is.

Bobby so Zack lee is actually part British that’s why is Whittier lol . That’s why he said the white boy. Joe taslim is Chinese descent as many Indonesian people but iko is Indonesian you can through the skin colour and face features. Julie estelle and Hannah are both are French. Great reaction .

this movie is basically about Ito that's looking for redemption, he's enough with the Six Seas, he's enough with all the slaughter that he did, he's done, Ito said it the movie that maybe he didn't try to save the little girl, he's trying to "save himself", but at the end of the day everything has cost, Triads can't let him go, they can't let the little girl go, and they're hunting them, his "brother" Arian with his ambition got manipulated by Chien Wu and hunting him too now about The Operator there's the deleted scene that they uploaded on RU-vid, there's a bit of explanation about her character there

The martial arts genre films that give me goosebumps are : The Night Comes For Us. Brutal scenes, violence, endless fights, attractions and characters that have their own distinctive style. Merged into one in the film. Even when I first watched The Night Come For Us, I immediately concluded that the film not only shows how to beat the opponent, but how to fight to stay alive. In this film, the fight scenes are very different when compared to other martial arts genre films. Even the film shows scenes of violence against women fighting. In fact, the feeling I felt while watching this film was very different. Actually, it doesn't look like a martial arts movie but a horror movie. For some reason, I liked the roles played by the 3 women in the film. While I also liked the Mortal Kombat movies (Kitana and Sonya), I wasn't particularly interested in the female leads in Mortal Kombat, as if they had a different class appearance in the fight scenes compared to The Night Come For Us. Just my opinion : 10/10 Gore and Brutal for martial arts (The Night Come For Us).

I wonder whats next.you seemed to finish all raid-like movie except Merantau. If you want to stick to the actor, Iko kinda have few international movie like 22 mile, beyons skyline, etc that i think, not as par as last few. Joe pop up at mortal kombat lately dumbing down his role as a magician ( sadly bad fighter role, dont get me wrong good VFX and all but so Hollywoodey) and also starred as another villain-ish role in Warrior series ( a better action and a recommended one might i say) as a chinnese kungfu master. If you want to stick to the gory action themed movie, maybe korean classic I Saw The devil, Man From Nowhere, and No Tears for the Dead provided a balance between good action and gore. Or maybe another raid-like series, Grisse an Indonesian colonization era movies about besieged town. Aesthetically similar to the raid but a so-so action scene. Well guess thats it, all in all thankyou for exposing those fine indonesian movies and pencaksilat martial arts. We indonesian hold dear to the raid and raids-like movie (i hope we got the third one as an proper closure) as a national treasurre. Have a good day

maybe you can try react gundala movie, so gundala is first superhero company movie in indonesia and also south east asian first company like marvel or DC, the company name is bumilangit studio📺 bumilangit also have comics and more stuff like marvel do but still need more development, we glad if you can try see and react thats movie

@@LeechTMReacts if you're going to react to Gundala I suggest you to watch the original Indonesian version with subtitles because the acting, the feeling when you're watching will be different, and the film not only in Indonesian but some parts using the more traditional language, and when it's dubbed to english, or maybe german the traditional language won't be included because it's all already translated, you've watched Indonesian film with subtitles before so I don't think it's a big problem for you, but if you're more comfortable with dubbed version then it's okay

@@aandwicahyono7552 its actually not the problem of comfortability, its getting the original Movie on Streaming Platforms in Germany undubbed is virtually impossible. 95% of Movies are dubbed over here, and i dont want to use illegal streams for it.

I like some small details you commenting abt. Yea, some weird detail that looks kinda fake is somehow Timo Tjahjanto style. I watched some of his movies and he likes to add some dramatic colors into it. I kinda like it but it still looks weird. Like weird in a good way 🤣 Some of his style is also he likes to add western or Japanese/Hongkong style in between supposedly Indonesia/ South East Asian theme.

Honestly, I didn't enjoy this movie as I did the raid and some other movies.. TNFCU is way too much bloody for my taste. Almost like indulging in it. That being said, the 3 women fight is my fave scene in this movie, perhaps in all movies involving woman vs woman fight...

The story is convoluted and kinda sucks and the cinematography is a bit worse than the raid 2 but fckng hell this must be one of if not the goriest action movie ever.
