Agree with dad. It's about personal responsibility. As Tom MacDonald says in a different song, "I know that being you is harder than it sounds, but you're the only one who can so do you proud." There's nobody to pick you up if you decide to think of yourself as a victim. Whether you're Christian or not, the message of Carrying your damn cross is true. You will have pain, difficulty, and hardest of all, malevolence. People will hurt you on purpose. The correct thing to do is to pickup your suffering and carry your cross and become something in spite of that. Personal responsibility. Sovereignty of the individual. Freedom is more valuable than safety. The pronoun shit? Ask any LGBTQ activist if they will call you Sir, call a cop "officer" or Kavanaugh "justice" That instantly drops their charade that it isn't about "being polite". They don't use polite language. their whole lifestyle is a middle finger to society, and then they get upset if society isn't "polite"? Politeness is not law. Being impolite is protected under 1A (and I'm a Canadian.) Respect is earned through individual relationships, not determined by government fiat and a gender studies professor who moonlights as a BLM rioter. Glad Dad is mic'd better. I hope you show him the comments. Hopefully he knows people are legitimately curious to hear him speak. We like crossing the generation gap and relating. Keep it up fam. Love from Canada.
I have a request, I want to see Dad react to Nightwish - Ghost Love Score (live at Wakken 2013). I'd love to see his opinion/reaction to the lead vocalist!
