For me, Wonder Woman has the best theme song in the entirety of the DCEU. I have that on my study playlist to get a burst of energy. I swear you can make a compilation over an hour long of Don’s horny moments.

Gal Gadot looks so damn good in that amazon armor as my favorite founding member of the Justice League/#1 favorite DC superhero. Just a heads up: If you watch the Justice League movie, please make sure it's the Snyder Cut and not Joss Whedon's bastardized knockoff.
The theatrical version wasn't that bad. While the Snyder Cut was good, very few of the added scenes didn't contribute to the story and were just done for fan service.
The Amazons don't age. Diana is the only child. No men or boys. They don't do anything to the boy babies because there are none. (I think there was a Gail Simone run in the comics about some Amazons who wanted to have children and were angry only the Queen got to have one. Fuzzy memory.) Anyway, what I LOVE about the Amazons in this movie is that the director cast a lot of actual athletes. There are boxers and Olympians and Crossfit people. So most of them look really strong and not like models which will not really be the case going forward.
Kinda sad that you didn't seem to notice her theme music in her assault on the town, which instantly became iconic from the moment the first trailer dropped. Everyone was raving about that theme.
I don't think hes seen Batman vs Superman, which is where we fiest heard her theme music in such an iconic scene. So when the music starts during her fight scene in this one and the fact its the same song was just awesome. ❤

To answer your question Don: The movie line is a bit skewed on the Amazonian women. These women were alive in our world through time. Each one died a warriors death in the “real world”. They were favored by Aries, and given the island solely for them. The island keeps them safe and unseen. No death occurs there and no children are born there. Diana’s mother, molded her and formed her from the clay of the island, and her blood (her mom’s friend Tek calls Diana “ Dirt” 😓 to be mean to her) and Zeus seeing her mom’s wish, granted that molded clay and blood life. Diana is made of the island. Now as to the death that you see: I said the island is protected, meaning no compass will ever tell you its direction. As long as the OUTSIDE WORLD never sets foot on the island, the Amazons are immortal, ALL OF THEM. Then Steve lands inside of the barrier, thus allowing the chasing Germans to find the island as well. Now that these men from the outside have set foot on the island, it has been poisoned and the Amazons are no longer immortal due to this poisoning. This is why bullets killed the Amazons. Those that were wounded stayed wounded UNTIL STEVE LEFT. So that is why Steve had to leave there (besides his original mission), as long as he stayed, the Amazons faced a slow painful death…a second permanent death. The only entity

To partly answer your question I recall a comic or something that said they attacked and or boarded ships that wandered too close to their island since most crew and sailors were men they’d do it with them then killed them afterwards. That what I remember I could be wrong so take this with grain of salt.
Which is why I like to think they just get on board seduce the males then leave and then afterwards use some magic to erase their memories of the encounter. That would be more humane and less severe.
The Amazons are immortal in the sense of ageless. They can be killed, but they won’t age past 40, and it will be very slow. Diana’s childhood was over centuries.

Most of the other movies were good if not decent. WB being extremely controlling over them is what caused them to not be as good as they should have been.
I think release order is the best way to watch almost everything with very few exceptions, The Clone Wars animated series being one. Watching in chronological order may be less inconvenient in little ways, but the spoilers it causes is far more inconvenient to me. Every movie is released with the understanding that the viewer has probably seen the previous movies, so they can talk about or act on things that are established history without any thought to giving away anything. Watch them in a different order and you end up knowing plot-lines and outcomes that can ruin the viewing experience for some of the other movies. Not a good trade off.

Ares is the character you meet in injustice. One of the two you ever see in the games. I am hoping you like the movie overall when you see her again. BVS is just okay and the extended just for me is how MCU pressures it. Even if MCU didn't happen if DC even made a extended making people experience what the MCU could've been still the rewrites if followed just still make the universe bad at connecting cause they wanted to and it didn't work. Just hope you like the next three in this order as epic to quantity. The disgrace we see of certain things is a doozy for you to get through of how good one is (story, character,progress) and you see the last entries of each one

I loved this movie at the time, but the twist villain Eres at the end really threw me out, i can only imagine a Version of this movie where they do have the balls to make a movie with a nuanced message about human morality and hope. But wtahver evil god compells you or something or other.

The reveal of Diana being a goddess was expected for those familiar with Greek mythology, because Diana was another name for one of the 12 gods of Olympus; Artemis, I think....Ares' sibling, and another god of war, but she was more of a strategist.
Artemis wasn't a god of war. She was the goddess of the hunt, the wild, childbirth and a few other things. She also took over being the goddess of the moon from Selene. The goddess you're probably thinking of is Athena, the goddess of wisdom and warfare. And Diana was the Roman name for Artemis.

As you started with the dceu, When you will get to watching justice league, make sure you will watch the Zack Snyders long version of the movie. It’s extremely long but it’s worth it. The 2 hour version is just a waste of time.

The theatrical version is still pretty fleshed out imo. Even though the Snyder Cut is good, it didn't really add that much to the story. The movie just needed a few reshoots by the time Snyder had to step down, but WB decided to make unnecessary changes for some reason. I really wish I knew what they had against him.

I really hope when it comes time to do Justice League that you choose the Snyder cut... people will be saying stuff like "Don't watch it cause its not cannon" but DC abandoned the storyline entirely so therefor it doesn't matter.. Snyder cut is 100% better than the original so please consider that one.
I'm pretty sure it takes place at about the same time as Infinity War, hence them not being in it. Chronologically, watch it before Infinity War, but it should still be watched after Infinity War because it makes the credits scene more impactful.
