actually you guys are wrong... first class movie: Erik,Raven,Alex,Hank,Charles,Emma, were some of the first mutants .. Magneto,Professor-X,Havoc,White Queen,Mystic... just to name a few(JFK was a mutant too,I don't his exact name but Magneto tried to save him but the bullet was not magnetic ..) years later, Charles recruited: Ororo(Storm),Jean(Marvel girl/Phoenix),Scott Summers(known as Cyclops is younger brother to Alex aka Havoc) in the cartoon series it's reverse with Scott being slightly older than Alex.. Hank McCoy becomes Beast(has a love interest with Mystic) but with Erik(Magneto twisted ways for wages wars with humans,she decided to join the Brotherhood of Mutants) she later has rogue and nightcrawler(Azael is the father to nightcrawler) much later recruits are: Rogue,IceMan,ShadowCat,Forge(who was lost cause of high school invention that went terribly wrong but he eventually met with Kurt Wagner cause he used him to teleport themselves into the distant future..that's all I will say about that team up) Victor "Creed" Heweltt and James "Logan" Heweltt are brothers(Wolverine and Sabertooth) Sabertooth went rogue cause he wanted the Adamantium material for himself(Lt Striker,not colonial William Striker ..years later," told Victor he would not survive the experiment not because he wasn't stronger but that he had nothing to live for once the experiment was over..meaning he didn't have the will power like Logan did) that's why Logan survived it..

I think that William Stryker captured Victor and experimented on him. That's why Victor looks more like an animal in the first movie and doesn't remember his brother at all. He most likely had his memory erased. It's ironic that the brothers fought each other in the first movie and didn't remember each other.

Victor is naturally more animalistic, that’s jus his mutation, no experimentation. Similar to killer croc having scaly skin and sharp teeth. Wolverine and sabertooth are not brothers but they do have a history of bad blood. It jus wasn’t explored in the first X-men and it was their first time meeting

In the comics and wolverine's real origins Victor (Sabertooth) wasn't the one who ran away with James as kids. One of the maids/workers had a daughter named Rose who was James only friend. There was a grounds keeper named Logan who was a drunk who also had a son only referred to as Dog who Logan (grounds keeper) abused. Dog constantly bullied James being jealous that he had a better family. Logan (grounds keeper) got drunk and revealed that he had an affair with James mother and he attacked and killed James dad. James kills Logan. After James mother sees his claws she realizes what James is and kills herself. James grandfather threatens James to run and In the commotion Rose gets James and runs away with him. His grandfather sends Dog to track and kill James. Rose and James spend years together hiding and running. When someone asked Rose their names Rose said James name was Logan to hid his true identity of James Howlett

20:05 In the comics, these two old folks were actually much younger and named James and Heather Hudson. James was the leader of a Canadian superteam called Alpha Flight. They found Wolverine and helped him integrate back into society. Later he joined Department H which launched Alpha Flight. Wolverine left the team and Canada to join the X-Men.

No one told you that because this movie wasn’t received well by the fans and vocal internet talkers that Marcel in turn acted like this movie never happened. There was plans for more Origin movies, but they were scratched. This was better than The Wolverine movie later.

Same, I dont think its a good movie but its got some damn good performances and I feel like X-men generally just set the bar at the fairly goofy end of the superhero movie spectrum. People watching it expecting it to be the very height of theatre were never going to enjoy it

As for the timelines. The new Deadpool and the MCU are all connected. These X-Men movies are not, they are their own series when Fox owned the rights to X-Men. Though as these movies go on, the timelines do become a bit weird sadly.

OK, so Victor is sabertooth and sabertooth is Logan‘s brother. Your questions about deadpool this version of Deadpool can be forgotten. The origin story for deadpool is the one in his first movie not this version. that’s the one that matters. In my head, I always thought that the Deadpool scene meant that the one we seen in X-Men origins Wolverine could be forgotten.This is not technically Wakanda, but Logan ‘s adamantim skeleton and claws are basically the X-Men’s version of Wakandas vibraneium. That end credit scene from deadpool you played at the end is going to be important so keep it in mind I can’t spoil anything yet cause you still have a few movies to go but keep up the great work and can’t wait for you to react to xmen first class next

They did Deadpool dirty. It was this movie that inspired Ryan Renolds to start a campaign to retcon Deadpool. It started with him writing directing and producing a fake Trailor for a proper Deadpool movie. Fox tried to deny it but the hype was too much for the studio to ignore and it snowballed from there.

This tells you all about Wolverine’s (James/Logan) story and how he came to be part of the X-Men. Victor was a beast too. He was the original Sabertooth, before the guy you saw in the first X-Men. Striker was in X-Men 2: United. I really liked Gambit in this one too.

awesome reaction as always! You're right don't worry about the timelines it's very confusing for anyone who didn't watch the movies in release order. If you're really stuck there are really good Xmen timeline explained videos which obviously contain spoilers so watch after you're done. You're being guided by the fans though so you definitely won't go astray

I’m not going to say the movies themselves are good or bad. It’s just maddening that 20 Century Fox had the blueprint of the comic books for both storylines and a semblance of continuity and they couldn’t get it right. Except for coming really close in the Fox animated series of the 90s which is when they first bought the rights from Marvel.

Wolverines birth name is James Howlett. His unknown at the time biological father's last name is Logan. Thomas Logan, who he kills in the beginning before knowing it was his actual father. His mother was having an affair with Thomas Logan, their grounds keeper. He changed his name to try and go undetected, but that is where the name comes from.

If it wasn't for the Adamantium coating over his skeleton which constantly taxes his healing factor, Wolverine would not age at ALL, and would basically be immortal unless he was decapitated

The reason this doesn't match up with the Deadpool movie is because like X-Men Days of Future past, X-Men wolverine origins and X-Men take place on Earth 10005 while movies like X-Men Days of Future past, dark Phoenix, Logan and Deadpool take place on Earth TRN-414 and yes I said Days of Future past twice because that's where the timeline splits

As a Louisiana woman, it annoys me that every time movies or TV shows anyone driving across country, into Louisiana, they always show the characters driving into New Orleans by crossing the Pontchartrain Expressway South to North. I know they do it just to have the New Orleans skyline in the shot, but where do you want the audience to believe they're coming from? There's only a few bayou towns and then the Gulf of Mexico?
