I worked on a museum in a Philippines before and whenever there are japanese tourists I find it quite hard explaning the japanese occupation to them, but they are understanding and feel sorry. All the japanese people I met who are interested in Philippines' history are all nice.

You have to go to Umbul Sidomukti in Semarang, Indonesia. There's flying fox from valley to valley. I already done it and it's so fun ^^

i think they don't teach the Japanese oppression during WW2 in schools in Japan. can't blame the kids of today for not knowing. Japanese soldiers were exalted in Japan. they are not sorry at all for whatever happened in the past. But were glad that those days are over. Time to focus on the now. War guilt, you'll get over it. My say on this "ikain mo na lang yan". :)

I can see how Steph is strugling haha. Both the history and the light house :) But I think that she wasn't impressed by the discipline brought up about Japanese in that case, and I think that's good. Discipline can be admired, but not in all cases.
