Exactly what I was looking for, I saw some itineraries hitting bangkok, phuket, and chiang mai in 14 days and just seems like too much travel time for me

Thanks for the advice and itinerary, really informative! Quick question - I am going for two weeks to Thailand with doing Chang Mai as well. Would this be too much?
@joshbonthemove
@joshbonthemove 18 дней назад
Depends how much travelling you want to do, I’ve found in the past trying to do too much in one trip feels a little rushed and tiring, at least it does now I’m 30 lol! I don’t think it’s too much for everyone, but it would probably be too much for me. If I wanted to do chiang mai too, I’d probably drop out somewhere else. Thanks for the comment 👍🏻

@@beverleylesar7732 June should be mostly nice, slightly less crowds, a bit more rain than the high season but you should also get some really nice days

Thank you for the info! Would you recommend travel north ? Il be leaving in 2 weeks for 2 weeks and haven’t decided 🙈
@joshbonthemove
@joshbonthemove 5 месяцев назад
It depends what you like, the North you will have more countryside and nature but you won’t have the beaches, I like chiang mai but didn’t love chiang mai… I like the south so I’m biased 😏

Have you been to Cha am? Right down the road from Hau Hin. Similar. Pretty quiet. Next question have you been to Thonburi? Great place to stay and explore if you want to meet the locals. Many temples and markets. Floating markets too. Old Capital before Bangkok New side.
@joshbonthemove
@joshbonthemove 16 дней назад
I’ve been to both but Thonburi was about 6 years ago and my memory of it is vague at best so would be good to go back and appreciate it more. Cha’am is nice, went there this year. I prefer Hua Hin though. What’s your favourite?

Great video. We have just booked for end of Feb for 14 days. Starting Bangkok and leaving from Bangkok. We are not planning on Phuket so if you were heading to Krabi area what would your itinerary look like?
@joshbonthemove
@joshbonthemove 20 дней назад
Nice! Personally my itinerary would be something like 4-5 nights in Krabi, basing myself in Ao Nang and doing a Phi Phi day trip from there and possibly one other. Then enjoying the scenery surrounding you with some hiking, kayaking and getting a few bevs in one of the karaoke bars in the evening 👌🏻

is 3k enough for a couple for two weeks to enjoy some shopping /tours/nightlife ? after Airflight/Hotel accommodation have been already paid for
@joshbonthemove
@joshbonthemove 4 месяца назад
More than enough 👍🏻, great Q. Just don’t eat in western restaurants every night and don’t accept the first price you get given in tours and you’ll easily have change to play with!

Hey, thanks for the video. I am taking your itinerary and doing the exact. Can you please tell me how you booked accomdation for all these places. Do you book them when you arrive to Thailand or you book in advance. From what I can see I will need to book about 6 different places on the different islands. Please can you advise how as it currently overwhelming for me, Many thanks.
@joshbonthemove

Thanks for the comment, I think you’ll have a great trip with this itinerary. Pros and cons of booking ahead vs booking on as you go. More choice and better prices by booking ahead of time. More flexibility by booking as you go if you meet people/ want to change your plans. If you’re a first timer it might be worth booking all your accommodation ahead of time to take the stress off of you 👍🏻. Booking.com or Airbnb are my go to’s 👍🏻
@PsychologyUnfolded

I wanna go solo in nov-dec, should you book accomindation in advance or day by day
@joshbonthemove
@joshbonthemove 2 месяца назад
It depends how fluid and flexible you want your trip to be. You’ll save money booking in advance and have better choices of accommodation but you’ll also not be able to be as spontaneous if you’re on a budget. If you’re not on a budget then you could always book and then if you change your mind last min, scrap a couple nights accommodation and do your own thing 👍🏻
