Is the auto-aim Q the reason biodaddy is avoiding it? It feels like the first couple of times you use it it's good, but then you naturally start side-stepping it. I'd love to hear a rioter's perspective on how it's meant to be used. Edit: or potentially because it fucks the wave state? Maybe I should finish the video lol.
A few things: 1. In hard engage matchups, it’s wise to hold your q for the enemy engage (naut/leo/ali) as their initial cc is generally also a gap closer. If you use your Q at the moment the Naut lands hook, it interrupts their hook and you instantly disengage and prevent them from being in range to auto/follow up. Meaning you should hold this ability and rely on auto for poke so you can’t get pressured by hooks. 2. Yes it CAN influence the wave-state, but the primary issue lies with “ah enemy Milio q is on CD, and now the wave is pushing towards us, meaning now I can safely engage on him and it’s a long way back to his turret for safety, time to go in!”. 3. As for maxing order, q cd does not go down with rank. Meaning you’ll get more utility from maxing e/w before it as your q isn’t meant to really poke the enemy all that much. It SHOULD be used strictly for disengage as a one point wonder because when you’re disengaging a fight, immediate damage doesn’t really matter, it’s the kiting after the disengage that matters.
I think it could if he's ahead enough but he'd be missing so much dmg from not being close i assume. Sounds interesting tho might have to do some cooking myself
Im really good with the Q - him not realizing it auto heads towards the enemy champs no matter what you hit... also saying its useless not knowing it stops people from charging in. like Naut hook .... lmao - it does amaze me how dumb some pro players are when new champs come out
