Honestly, I have a Hyosung gt650s v2, and it's amazing on track. You can carry more speed through the corners, and you are reminded that you do this for fun. It's great to see you back on track again 🙌

Absolutely love the R7 mate. Such a good looking bike w such a cool engine. I do feel like Yamaha couldve beefed up the CP2 just a bit to differentiate it from the MT07 just like they detuned the R6/R1 engines and put them in fz's.
I track my R7 and its an absolute joy around my local track! (Minus the ABS being an issue like you ststed) I'm definitely not the fastest rider out there, but the bike holds its own against the 600s and 1ks. Do you plan on modding it at all?

ABS Delete maybe? Also the m4 exhaust on the r7 makes it sound like a baby r1. One of my riding buddies put one on and then 2 other guys with r7's copied bc they loved it too! Def do lines and pads tho

Most people that think the R7 is just a starter bike apparently have never been on a track. I've done intermediate with my n400, so I know this thing is easily capable of doing Advanced level track days.
@@ddd.777- then the prcie of the bike would 2x or 3x the regular msrp because everything has to be upgraded so it's more reliable... It would probably be the same cost as a brand new r1 or more so then most people wouldn't buy it just like the zx4rr becuase people can just get the zx6r for around the same price

S22's are just fine for 1ks, Ive been through 4+ sets and have been on track with them just fine. On a 300,600,1k, you can elbo drag on s22's no problem.
