Grabbed the first River Run Gondola car at 9 a.m. Got to be quick when they open it up. First off the gondola, first into the skis, and first down the hill! Spring Dipper Run was wide open and groomed with that sweet, soft corduroy. It was a blazing run from the top of Dercum Mountain all the way down to the River Run base area, with no stops. The slopes filled up soon after, but there was still plenty of room to make turns and enjoy the sunny, blue bird day that we're so used to in Colorado. The River Run Gondola, Summit Express, and Montezuma Express were all operating on the front side of Keystone. Schoolmarm Run and Silver Spoon Run were also open, as well as the terrain park and the learning area at the summit. Lots of turns for skiers and riders of all ages.
