You brought my hopes up, after what I went through yesterday being in the ER they told me the same thing, that I could have ectopic or miscarriage, i was bleeding so much that it look like I was having my period, but they say I was too early to know yet. Listening to you really brought my hope up.
I am 5 weeks 6 days and I am experiencing this at this very moment, started spotting Wed, turning into bleeding Thursday not soaking a pad but I felt in my spirit this was a miscarry. Just had blood drawn today Friday (48hrs) to check hcg levels. this will indeed be the longest weekend of my life waiting to check if they have risen. They saw a sac, waiting until the 16th for a heartbeat for my next U/S. Your story has brought me to tears and given me such hope. Thank you so much for sharing.
Yes please update im going through this right now. Im cramping and all my tests are posotive but there is like she said blood and some small blood clots.
I know this is a very old video, but I'd like to let you know that I'm thankful you made it. We had a very similar situation, very low hcg at our first and second beta, not quite a double but good enough for our fertility clinic. at 6+3 I had a massive bleed (It looked like I started my period all at once - a gush of blood). We sat and waited at the ER from 3 until 11pm where they said they were not sure if we were loosing it because it was such a new pregnancy. We are going back to the early pregnancy unit tomorrow to have a follow up scan and check of HCG to compare to what it was on Friday. I hope we have a good outlook like you.

I’m going through something similar, I don’t have hyperthyroidism/hypothyroidism. I’ll be doing my 3rd HCG blood test March 23rd... my second didn’t double, but went up in 2 days. I’m having a lot of dark brown bleeding, then red, then brown. Cramping as well, but not severe. Still too early for ultrasound, but I really feel how your feeling, it’s extremely stressful not knowing what is going on in your body. Thank you for your video!
Thank you for this video, I'm actually in a very similar situation and it's comforting to know this. I have a thyroid condition and didn't even think to make a connection between that and my spotting. Now I have hope for my pregnancy as well.
live in the Netherlands and had an embryo transfer on 8 February. since last week Thursday 20 February I have had a brown blood loss and since 27 February really a lot of blood loss with thick clots ... I only cry because I no longer have any hope. the pregnancy tests are always positive but I am desperate. I'll call the hospital tomorrow .... how powerless you are sometimes

Hi ! I know I am posting 5 years on but do you remember your TSH level when you first had the bleed? I have had 3 miscarriages and during the first few weeks (5-6) I start spotting, and my TSH jumps to 4+ (when I'm not pregnant it usually is under 2!!!) I am pregnant a 4th time now (currently 4w3d) and I have been on preventative Thyroid meds of 0.05, my TSH levels are under 2.5 and no bleed as of now. Just curious to know how high your was. I just found out I most likely have hypothyroidism, I went to get blood work at the end of February 2015 , due to have a misscarriage in March 2014, and due to pre-term labour in September of 2012 I lost my daughter at 25 weeks, even though we do not know why I went into pre-term labour I really feel as though my thyroid was the cause . Even though we do not know the cause I truly believe with this new information it very well could have been the cause. I'm happy to say I have started treatment and I'm hoping in the next week months we will get the thumbs up to start trying to conceive for our rainbow baby! But your video has been very helpful and I look forward to following you on your journey to motherhood! Thank you !!!

I have had hyper and hypothyreodism, now low but normal, thank you for this information and telling your story. This seems to be a common thing, and also neglected by the Health care and there is too Little knowledge about wimen illnesses and lack of Resources. This should be fixed by dooing the right political decisions and making sick and Healthcare awailable and equal to wimen. It is the back side of Healthcare when saving Money on women and Child care. As it has been all times. But times are chanching, will they change fast enough, if it would relive wimens/ childrens suffering in Life and improve Life quality for everyone. The thyroid works when we really take it for granted because that's one organ people rarely think about they probably worried about appendix pain versus more often. That thyroid can be a huge impediment to successfully just stating or a contributing factor to so many random things. So glad that worked out for you and that you share this
hi, thank you so much for this video, I'm having the same situation, I'm still early in my pregnancy, they still haven't seen anything.I started with brown discharge,then light pink spotting, then red bleeding ,eventually it's turning to be dark brown blood or discharge I'm still not sure, they told me that it's either misscariage or molar pregnancy, but my hcg levels were only 270.I'm on bed rest now.I don't know what to do but surely your video gave me hope.thank u so much.

Please please help. Positive test on dec 3rd, the 4th i got a positive at the doctors, got my flu shot and then had my levels checked and it was at 37. A few days later i started spotting, had my levels checked again and it was at 14. Still spotting, new blood work showed levels at 25 and i had an ultrasound and they could not find anything anywhere. Went to the ER that night and they checked for any infection nothing and gave me a prescription for more blood work and got in contact with an obgyn. Levels before meeting the ob was at 13. Met with ob the next day and he wants me to take a shot to basically abort it because they are worried about ectopic or something but my levels from yesterday shot up to 61mui. I have not had any symptoms of miscarriage other than my spotting that has been going on for a week. The ER doctor asked on a scale of 1 -10 what my pain level was and i told him .5 of lower because i didnt notice any pain at all. I have been having pregnancy symptoms though but no cramping, no clots either. I have another blood test monday (the 16th of dec) but again they did not see anything on the ultrasound so does it really have to be ectopic or a miscarriage? Is there no way this is just a strange pregnancy?
I am not spotting, but I have cramping pain. I missed my period and did my test on the 2nd day of my missed period and my level was only 73. I will do the test again in 2 days. I already have hypothyroidism. Thank you for sharing your story.
I had ectopic pregnancy as well end up with surgery 07.12.2019 now I am still sick. 😢😰 was my 3 pregnant but other all 2 end up with miscarriage 😥😥😥 I am 29years but I loose hope they remove my one tube.😰😢 guys I am very sad
Omg. Im so sorry for that. How did your doctor figure out? I am currently in the same situation like everyone here. Im taking synthroid for 5 year already. Got one miscarry in 2018 and this second time I keep having brown discharge. Ultrasound does not show anything either. Doctor keep telling me that it might be an ectopic pregnancy which freaks me out. They are monitoring my hcg level right now. The only thing that confuse me is how dothey know ectopic pregnant if u/s does not show anything.

I also same situation my 5 weeks pregnant, my hcg - level 25 in my 7 days missed period . Then i got bleeding like periods ....after 2 days doctor said check again hcg its showing 242 still postive .... very confusion
Hi Natalia, unfortunately, no I don't remember by TSH levels at the time but I do remember that my GP called me as soon as my blood results came back.. to tell me that i was indeed suffering from hypothyroidism. Wishing you the best!

my wife was diagonsed hypothyroidism of THS 7.8 n was kept on medication Thyronorm25mcg. after 3-5 weeks we came to know that see is 5-6 week pregnent. but not shown positive in ultrasound. Dr increased Thyronorm by 12.5mcg. her HCG is 10636miu/ml and 13765.5miu/ml in 48 hr result. i m confused if there is any complication. Hope dr will clear my dout. hope for sharing of ur knowledge

Thank you so much for the info. I had a big scare today. Noticed spotting which eventually lead to bleeding. Was at the ER all day today. They measured me at 5 weeks 4 days. According to the ultrasound, blood work n vaginal ultrasound everything looks good. Hormone levels are coinciding with the size of the embryo. I have to go back in 48 hours for another blood work to track/check the hormone level. I will most definitely ask about my thyroid hormone count. Thank you so much! God bless you!

All symptoms are same like that only, but when we are doing urine test that result is negative, and also she had spotting and bleeding on her 6 th week and it lasts 2 days without abdominal pain and any other pains. we had a doubt what is going actually... Hi Dear, Am having same issues... just wanted to know for how long did you bleed.... as am bleeding from last thursday night and i went for scan on friday morning doctors said baby is fine saw heartbeat and said an 7 weeks pregnant ... am realy concerned ... i do have hypothyroidism but am currently on 1.5 mg a day and just thinking if i required to increase it ....

I bled for about two months (mind you it was more like spotting and discharge) there was only one time when I actually bled out as I mention in the video. Ask for your TSH to be checked and see if there needs to be any modification in your dosage.. good luck!

I think i may have experienced a chemical pregnancy.. I had 4 positive at home pregnancy tests, faint lines but they were there...I went to the doctor to get blood work and they came back negative for hcg and i was told that i have hypothyroidism...but they said it wasnt too bad So my question is...Should i get treated for my hypothyroidism first before i try to get pregnant? And is the hypothyroidism the reason why i have had 2 chemical pregnancies?
I tested beta hcg blood 5 days before my period. And it shows 2.80miu/ml should I wait more for detecting early pregnancy? HPT showed faint positive lines

Hi Mahesh, I am sorry to hear that your wife is experiencing these symptoms. In my experience, the low rising HCG and bleeding was because of my hypothyroidism. I did not have issues with progrestrone levels so I cannot comment. Wishing you the best :)

Hello girls I'm 5 weeks and 6 days old. Last wednesday 04/24/19 I had a bleed at 10 am at work, I was very scared. So I ran to the doctor. She told me to have an ultrasound, which showed the gestational sac, but could not see the embryo. Bleeding was not due to pregnancy. The uterus is closed. But since the event I have had strong cramps and bleeding like menstruation. I did a test of the beta HCG that was 3100 last wednesday and repeated the test again on Friday 04/26/19, that was 3700. According to the doctor the fetus is not developing as it should. If it is a normal pregnancy the HCG beta count has to double. I'm waiting to do another ultrasound next week. Has anyone ever had anything like this? Thanks

Omg i having this right now bleeding and severe pain in my adonminal i was in er all night long i took a pregnancy 4 wks ago it said i was pregnant. Last night at the Er they couldn't see if i was a pregnancy on the ultrasound so they took blood work and check my hgg im still lost i dont know if im pregnant or not so i made me an appt to my primary doctor im so lost right now..
