I myself are a truckdriver based in Sweden. I drive across europe with my kids pictures hanging over my bed. I really like this job but sometimes it gets lonely. I like watching your videos, makes things easier i some way. Would love the opportunity to drive in Us/Canada someday. Nice truck btw, and really big if you compare to the European trucks where the beds is just in the back of the drivers seat. I might have 5cm from my seat to the bed. :D Have a good day.

hello trucker josh, greetings from the land down under, I am not a truck driver myself- my father was, he drove trucks in the u.k (called lorries) in the 1960,s then when we relocated to Australia he drove interstate in the 70,s for many yrs and as a lad on school holidays I would ride along with him, as a grown up I have spent nearly 35yrs in the loading and unloading of trucks here (steel distribution) and as such ive been surrounded by trucks and trucking for most of my life, I enjoy your posts and love the interaction with your faithful hound diesel, keep up the good work....and that new rig looks awesome....cheers from Brisbane Australia.

Yeah those new projector headlights all these companies are coming out with are amazing. Our 2012 Buick has the. and they are amazing when we out on the more desolate highways. Great vlog as always Josh.

Detroit DD15 I believe. Plus with Diamler owning Freigtliner/WesternStar/DetroitDeisel/ThomasBuses, Detroit is just a brand name, DNA of the engine, practically Mercedes-Benz, but still a good engine from what I hear.

For your cabinet you can get a grip mat from a department store. Typical placements are kitchen cabinets or drawers.

Fun fact, One of the first automatictruck come in early 2000 here in Sweden, Now days all trucks we build is automatic at start, and we have came up to 730hp on Scania and 750hp on Volvo :D

i actually reserve parking If I'm going to be getting to a truck stop during the evening peak hours. I do the flyin j reservation online. easy peasy.

I think you might need to put rear fender on the truck because the back part looks dirty already, it's not so good for a new WS truck~ :)

I know that this is a tad bit late, but I am a Diesel Tech student, and I believe that after I do get my degree, I am gonna take life on the road for maybe a year or two, just to understand what you guys go through. I come from a line of truckers, and have been on the road, but I truly want to go on the road for myself, so that I may respect the job a little better. So I won't become one of those techs that think like, "Oh, they are fussing about time? They will just wait!". I know your time is very valuable, and I do respect it, but I want to respect it more!

Once you get headlights like that its hard to go back, anything less just sucks. I have done two proper hid projector retrofit installs on my vehicles and like your truck, the high beams are like sending daylight down the road. How do you like the power of that DD15?

Joshua Mclain i personally like the automated manual its great for fuel econemy and being a detroit its got a strong history of reliability. they seem to drive really nice on long trips and felt abit more peppy than the 2014 i was driving. but thats just my personal preference

Whatever happened to the Freightliner,was it shipped to Australia,,with that shield you had that resembled a matador,lol Western Star are all metal I believe,and is it part of Daimler,too?
