A major milestone was reached Wednesday for offshore wind energy in New York and the United States. The nation's first commercial-scale offshore wind project is churning out clean renewable energy on Long Island. The wind farm off Montauk is nearing completion. We are having a cold winter here on Medowie in the southern hemispher😢e.The urban heat island effect must be impacting India with its huge population and cities.THe northern hemisphere seems to be heating up more than the southern.There is more land mass and population.

Wind farm is south of Rhode Island,,, not even close to New York waters , yet they are receiving the power . Not in my backyard, but Rhode Island fishermen are greatly affected by the wind farm location.

Whales are very social creatures that travel in groups called “pods.” They use a variety of noises to communicate and socialize with each other. The three main types of sounds made by whales are clicks, whistles, and pulsed calls. Clicks are believed to be for navigation and identifying physical surroundings. So these wind turbines produce noise vibrations underwater which will certainly disrupt whales. This is a horrible decision
