What all these communities and reviews are not telling you is that it’s not compatible with certain cameras. The concept is nice. I was very curious as to why all the reviews on this product, they were using Sony Cameras. Not until I purchased the product that I realized that it’s not compatible with Nikon, it’s not compatible with the iPhone pro max, and there’s no reason to use it with an action cam because it’s not waterproof.
As soon as you pay... No one care you if you have problem. I bought it 10 days ago and they are not able to manage the shipment from Germany. Wrote several time and always the same answer "it will be shipped today or tomorrow ". So nice product... If you can get it.
I am using it with aSony a6700 with different lenses and is great. I love the AI tracking, the stabilization is not bad and the shutter button is working to start and stop recording. The only thing that upset me with my camera Sony a6700 in conjunction with the gimbal is that the ZOOM Control it is not working, and I don't have another camera Sony camera to try. Your demo shows that it is working on a Sony a7IV and I regret to have just sold the Sony a6400 and the a6300 cause now I don't have another Sony camera two test if is a fault with the gimbal or the a6700 that change the connection and menu system.
I returned the gimbal at my expense for a replacement because it didn't work. But I can't get a minimum response or support from your assistance center. How can I get an answer and above all when will I be able to get my gimbal back that I need to work?
The AI tracker points down, like it's aiming at my chin. This is with both my Fujifilm X-H2 and a Viltrox 13mm lens and my iPhone 15 Pro Max. They both point down when the AI tracker is activated and I can't tilt it up toward my eye line, it just points down again. I've got everything balanced correctly, I've done it many times over and over for each kind of camera. It just really wants you to see my chin.

The gimbal works very well with Sony A7s iii, for instance, or iPhone 13, but the Ai tracking feature is totally unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes not; sometimes the reframing feature works, sometimes not. I tried the Hohem M6 smartphone gimbal before this and had a very similar experience. Eventually returned the gimbal for a replacement which was a little better but not dramatically so. Tried using the smartphone Ai tracking attachment in the larger gimbal and vice versa but with no significant improvement. Probably all that is required is a firmware update but there’s no sign of that coming from Hohem, 8 months later!
Hi 😊 I've never used a gimbal camera before (only smartphone and action camera ones), so the balancing is new to me, I'm wondering about zoom lens and proper balance, do you need to balance each time you change a focal length? And for compact cameras like Sony ZV1, I guess you should balance it when is on as the lens are hidden when is off 🤔
So, I received mine. I realized that once I put a lens on my Leica SL2-s, it won’t move. Now, I try to use it on my b-cam, a Lumix G9, it works but it shows Error 3. What does it mean? How do I get rid of it?
Hi and I'm actually satisfied. However, there is a very quiet whining noise. When you listen to the recordings from the smartphone, it's already quite loud. What can I do about it? Is my device broken? You only hear it on the smartphone, there's nothing audible on the GoPro. 🤷
Hello! I bought your steadicam, but there is one serious problem. It keeps losing its horizon. I have qualitatively stabilized the steadicam. I did an auto-balancing. I tuned the motors. And even adjusted the degrees of the horizon in the application. But as soon as I take a few steps with the camera, it still fills the horizon. What to do? However, it is not clear to me if the phone adapter can hold a phone like the Tank 3 from Unihertz with 3 cm thickness, it has a weight of 666 grams as well but, it is clear that this Gimbal can hold more than 1 kilo of weight, but the thickness of the phone is what I still trying to find out if it can hold such thick phone to buy this Gimbal right away! I am curious. For Insta360 flow and DJI Osmo Mobile, they doesnt seems to require any balancing / calibrating steps, just put on your mobile and done. Why does this requires such extensive calibrating procedure? Seems pretty old tech if compared to the others.

I am using a Canon EOS 250D. I cannot get the AI tracker to focus on my face. Whenever I make a hand gesture, it ends up focusing on my torso, even when I make the hand gestures next to my face. What am I doing wrong?
Depends on the camera. I shoot Canon and the balance is different that the Sony they always show. That is why they only show Sony and have given this gimbal to Sony users for review. Will not balance on other mirrorless or DSLR cameras that are within the weight limit. Just not enough leeway to balance.... and when the screen is out, forget it.
My inception mode fails after two seconds due to the weak motors. AI features stand out but too weak for run and gun on interchangeable lens cameras. Suboptimal performance on my ZV-E10. If it wasn't for AI tracker, I would get Zhiyun M3s for the price. Love the Ai but hate the motor strength.
The problem is you have a BUG in your Hohem Joy App. It actually pops up a notice saying the APP has a bug and to wait for the developer to figure it out. Really???....Just stated it had an update in Dec 2023 yet says it has a bug? The phone it is being installed on is Samsung S21 Ultra 5G so it is not the phone. You have APP issues.
The gimbal has super weak servo motors, You need to stabilize it manually by using the built in arca swiss rails to balance Your camera into position, where You have no error code 3. It's an expensive product with cheap motors, so that's a pity. Otherwise it works fine.
@bryanfury6264 thanks. I found a video on you that helped me balance my dslr and phone. But I still get error codes 90% of the time. It's works sometimes. However, it will shut off because of the error code if I don't start recording. 😤 still working on can't give up 💪. Thanks again

I can't vertically balance my Sony a 6400 or iPhone 14 PRO. I am on 0 at the scale for vertical balancing. I can't go any further obviously. Even the L-bracket is at the maximum, but it always rotates in one direction. What to do? Am I stupid? lmao
you should show how the cellphone is balance not the "follow the camera bla bla bla" and my IA is not tracking anything. even, have some scratches that i didn't notice before because this was the first time i'm using it, since the gimbal arrived from aliexpress (your official store) it's a pain in the ass all of this.
Guys. I know the max load capacity is 1200g. My sony mark 3 and tamron 24-75 weight just the same amount. I really want to get this exact gimbal because of the AI tracking feature but the load is just on the edge. Has anybody tried this setup and was it hard on the motors?

What is error code 1 it starts when i boot up the Mt2. Im trying to update the firmware on it but it will not download it just stays at zero. Ive reset everything and no matter what it will not download. Any advice or do i need to send it back for a new one?
I sent an email and will call on Monday, same problem. I own the m6 as well and never an issue. Everything is perfectly balanced with my phone, action 4, and nikon. Will put an update if I find anything.
@@krytalon I sent mine back. What I figured is that I was sent a faulty product. It didn’t have any firmware on it whatsoever. Even on the app it didn’t show what firmware was on it. As I quickly received a new one two days later. It fired right up no issues at all! No update required or anything. So I’m going on a limb to say I think the error 1 code is no firmware or firmware update needed.
@@ChrisandJenique fair enough! However I am on my second one. Hooked phone up 10 out of 10 connects. My nikon or action 4 gives error 01. I going to update this when I hear back from them. Since I have found 0 resolutions on this anywhere on the web. However I have seen multiple people report this issue. Hopefully it helps someone else. Cause man I love my m6 so this should be just as good or better. IMHO
