I love Hondas - most of my cars, lawn mowers, trail bikes, and ATVs are Hondas. And up until now, my Honda EU300IS inverter generator was the only generator we've used for the last 2-1/2 years.
There are two reasons why we switched to the Champion 4500W inverter generator: the remote, and the extra power for the RV A/C.
I'm not sure why Honda, like Apple, is slow to integrate new technology, but for years, Champion, and other competitors charge about a third for generators that include the following features which aren't available with Honda generators:
* Remote
* Internal hour meter
* Options for bi and tri-fuel (I opted for the gas model because the others don't have remote start)
We'll still use the Honda for other purposes, but this will be more convenient and powerful.
In this video, I also install a Zombiebox extension hose kit with muffler and wall mount.
