the best moments of this show is just john and jane talking like after missions, their chemistry is amazing

I've heard somewhere that the writers described John as a Golden Retriever and Jane as a Cat, in terms of their personalities.

To me, the whole mom thing always felt like John was fine okay doing it at first but changed his mind afterwards cause he couldn't leave her high and dry, which is why he mentioned to Jane "I'm all she's got". That normal behavior regardless of the whatever job you take. People are going to find ways around rules if they want something bad enough.

Technically, John said in the beginning when he was being interviewed that he wouldn’t abandon his mom, only Jane said she was fine with abandoning her entire family, which meant John was in the right

the writing and acting are so good, it makes it great to watch and talk about with friends to get their perspectives

Such great personality differences between John and Jane, you can tell John is naturally personable/charming while Jane hates that type of interactions she literally copy John’s responses when talking to the old couple in the restaurant.

You could tell Roshi understood John calling his mom but stayed quiet cause Lupa and Sheera were mad as hell 😂

John definitely doesn’t fully understand/come to terms with the potential consequences of their line of work and situation. And I think the show try’s to show Jane as being overly anxious about it but really I think she is very right to take it as seriously as she does.

This show is excellently crafted.

I find it fascinating to watch these two individuals navigate the intricacies of marriage while simultaneously handling their missions. Your reactions are simply perfect, like a chef's kiss. Moreover, Jane's intuition about John maintaining contact with his mom was spot-on, as it inevitably leads to trouble.

We gotta do a compilation every time Roshi is spot on with foreshadowing.
