EDIT: Watch our second day at Super Nintendo World where I try more of the Power Up Band games and the Bowser Jr. Challenge. I didn't get to do them in detail on the first visit (we were only there for 4 hours and couldn't get to everything on the first day). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mn1Va2hBlaY.html We also have tons of photos of the area in detail too (I know I moved around a lot in this video cause I was so excited haha). tdrexplorer.com/super-nintendo-world-photos/ I'm so excited to have been able to share this with you Explorers! Super Nintendo World isn't officially open yet, the opening was delayed again from Feb 4, 2021, to a later date (Not known at this point). This was during a preview that these videos were taken (I have this info in the description).
@@crystalbluesky3084 obviously not for this park, but if you look into former Disney World employees, they usually say how bad the full costumes are. They’re hot, stuffy, and start to smell bad after use inside from what I’ve read. Not a great experience apparently lol
@@crystalbluesky3084 every single person who has ever had to wear a mascot outfit at a theme park? Tbf, Japan has a next level boner for mascots, so I can't speak for their experience.
after this video, I searched up super nintendo world speedrun, but there's none yet. I think the rules for doing the speedrun would include following the parks rules and legal laws.
Omg I just spent the last ten minutes trying to figure out if you're a voice actor for one of the characters or maybe one was designed after you or by you because I took your comment as, I cannot wait to visit me (myself) and I was like how would he visit himself while at the park, maybe he's one of the characters? I feel real dumb now lol
I have always wanted to go to Japan, but after watching this my family is afraid I will never come home. They're absolutely correct! Thanks, I enjoyed this emensly! Mario 🍄
The American renditions are going to get wrecked. The Japanese are a lot more cleanly and polite and respectful. Imagine the stereotypical “Walmart crowd” going 🤦🏻♂️
@@AmericanGTS true, the Hollywood location is usually filled with high school thots and your typical douchebags. They’re probably start complaining on how childish “Super Nintendo World” is because of their egos.
SAME 😂My mom literally loves everything about Mario, I even showed her this and she said she really wants to go there sometime. Sadly we don't live in Japan, but we'll definitely visit it when quarantine is over.
@@Kalogord There's no opening date yet, but construction has started for The Hollywood version and eventually an Orlando version. It might be more condensed, but I can't wait for quarantine to be over to visit any one of them :)
The Hollywood one has construction delayed due to covid, I believe, or it did at the end of December anyway. We've been anxiously awaiting its opening. I want to take my son there for his bday.
@@lajeandom that’s what I’m saying I’ll take this job over any other job in the world lol as a Nintendo fan this makes me jealous of those lucky kids in Japan 😂
japan is so nice, the way people were waiting to take a picture in a formal line instead of waiting in a big crowd and walking in front of peoples pictures like people in america do,
“MARIO” - as a 51 year old fan of all things Nintendo this was a pure joy for me to watch you having a blast at Super Nintendo World. It looks absolutely beautiful and just the amount of detail in everything is nothing short of amazing. Hope you post another video when you go again so I can live vicariously through you. Take care and stay safe.
Same! I'm 44 and had the same response! (and react in similar ways to the game releases too, I get very excited by all the little details and in jokes)
@@supererikman5331 I want Jaleel White to be one of the guests. He was the official voice of Mario's rival Sonic, and the key challenges are ALL about going fast.
It's cool, but way too small. Ultimately, it doesn't seem like there's a whole lot you can do there. The video is around half an hour, say he spent about an hour in there, counting cut footage. Maybe a bit longer, maybe two hours max? Plus, all you see there is Mario stuff, even though it's called Super Nintendo World. I wish Nintendo would make a full scale theme park with more of their properties. They have the money and the popularity to make it successful. They could make whole areas for Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Kirby, Metroid, throw some Star Fox ride in there somewhere. That would be awesome. Like Disneyland, but Nintendo.
Man that Mario Kart queue looks so impressive. I mean entering Bowser's Castle and up that staircase with that glorious Bowser statue is the perfect way to enter a Nintendo-themed attraction, and one of the best ways to enter an attraction in general! I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to take that Bowser statue for their room
He's just saying "Wow!", "Look at this!", and giggling over and over, and I don't blame him one single bit. I might have passed out from all the excitement!
After ONE FULL Year in lockdown, seeing this made me cry... literally crying my eyes out...i want to go to amusement parks again..i want to go out again..i want to live again.i can't no more...
You won't live anymore if you get covid. Js. Be grateful to be alive and this pandemic needs time to subside. People are getting way to comfortable we still are getting 3k cases a day and over 200 deaths in socal ICU over 19% cap
Am I the only one that wants to jump into the Super Mario 64 portrait? This is such a cool land, and you are very lucky to be one of the first to experience it. I'll take their entire stock of merch
When this does eventually come to America, then I can't wait to go. I don't think I'll ever be able to visit Japan. Thank you for taking us with you to the theme park, it looks incredible!
Nintendo has the potencial of building an amusement park just like Disney did in the 50s, it would be freaking awesome considering all the ips they posses
@@tiffanymoses5761 well yea most ppl that know and love mario, pokemon, and other old nintendo franchises are actually adults now, coz this was huge back in their childhood. While children nowdays, doubt that many know about super mario, pokemon, donkeykong etc. Coz those franchises arent as big as in the 90s. Not uncommon to see children below 15 now who dunno anout super mario.
17:47 Can see everyone going down the stairs side eyeing your choice of filming location here. Please do not block stairs, especially the handrail. The last guy passing behind you uses the handrail the whole way down, and has to walk around you. Some people need them for balance, and couldn't easily shuffle over to the middle handrail without risking a fall.
@@tdrexplorer I enjoyed the video very much I have Mario Kart and Mario 64 and also Mario Super Mario Part 2 game for my DS looks really awesome in person
I’ve never been to Universal Japan, but I really wish I could go there! So many fun things to experience and so many delicious Mario Themed food to try out……
I would've died to go here when I was younger, I was so obsessed with mario and other nintendo characters and games. This would've been for sure the best day of my childhood life.
I'm still obsessed with Mario as a 33 year old, but yes it definitely would have been 1000 times better if this existed when I was a kid. I still plan on going when I'm able to though. It'll probably still be the best day of my life lol.
That entrance made me tear up man. All of the release dates in succession, leading up to the final release date which is for Super Nintendo World itself. That’s really cool
There are parks wich got those crazy rides and a even a better and bigger theme around them. Seems like u only now those American parks because my reference are the European Theme parks.
@@MarvinMusicGermany I'm from Europe, actually Germany as well if I may believe your name. Theme parks don't need rides. See it more as a huge Christkindlmarkt with another theme.
Your enthusiasm is contagious! My 10 year old son has watched the videos more than once and is asking me how we can get to Japan. I love the filming too....its not shaking all over the place. We just loved your tour!! Thank you fellow Canadian (i think?)
I wish there was someone in a bowser costume so you could get a photo with bowser 😫 plus a attraction called “bowser’s conquest” where you can see how bowser is preparing to kidnap peach or invade the mushroom kingdom....IMAGINE
Imagine if they added a Luigi's Mansion themed attraction That probably won't be the case since a donkey kong expansion is already confirmed but still a fun thought
This has to be some of the best theming I’ve seen in a park. I mean, there’s so much that it almost seems.... cluttered. I say almost. I’d have to see it in person.
