This is the first time we have visited the land after the break in. We checked on the house and cabins and hiked up to the neighbors cabin. We also replaced the lock on the gate because the intruder broke the last lock. We also took a few minutes to relocate the trail camera. Thankfully we didn’t catch anyone on the camera.

We feel very fortunate to have this property. We mainly use it for camping now but when the kids are out of school we plan to use it more. Thanks for watching.

I lived in Waco Texas for 12 yrs working as a lead butcher for HEB. I had a few minor issues. I move back home to a little town called Comanche Texas and I have been here for 4 years and I have been burglarized, truck broken into 3 times, I'm renovating my parents house, I planned on living in it. It's been vandalized and everything I leave out is stolen. Put a new roof, water lines, sewer, electric and all new windows in and they have busted 4 out of the 12 new windows out to get in and steal my tools while I am at work. I finally just stopped working on the house and I'll leave it just like it is and sell the property. I went to pigeon forge for 5 days and came back to, my 32 ft travel trailer being broken into and robbed. Cops tell me to put up security cams, so I put up 4 in 7 days they were all knocked down and smashed. Before anyone says anything about the SIM cards. I retrieved them. Awesome, totally focused pics of 2 dudes in black hoodies. The criminals absolute best friend.

We don't keep anything of value down there anymore. Anything we need we pack in and out. Thanks for watching.

An OUNCE of PREVENTION is WORTH a POUND of CURE... Nobody wants to be the *ONE* Percent that bad things happen to ( For Sure ) In Our own situation. Doing MORE with LESS was the "The Solution" . Add More signage. Along the perimeter and both up and down the hill as well. Trail Cams are both a Curse and a Blessing. What YOU See ? What Others See you are doing ? LOCKS can never be big enough or strong enough. CHAINS, Dead Bolts. Extra Security is SADLY the Way ( These Days ) Needs to be BEEFED up and Double ( Triple ) Quadruple checked and more even still. WHETHER its in the budget or not. Adding even some Barbed wire ate Key Trail Locations can be a Major Boost going forward. YOU Have plenty of trees so basically a few well placed NAILs Tacks, Anchors would serve the purpose many times over. No LONGER can ( WE ) sit Idly By Instead going above and beyond is the Sure fire way to KEEP you and others safe and secure. SCARY as it may seem. YOU NEED to STEP up to this challenge Sooner ( NOT ) later. . . Again ( USE ) the natural lay of the land. Adding in the PROPER items will with stand the test of time . In one day you could Greatly Increase how DIFFICULT it would be for any others to try this STUNT yet again. No Special Skill needed. Pick up stuff at thrift store or Online if need be. NEVER EVER under estimate the Will of Adolecent Trouble makers. If they did it once and got away with it all. Tomorrow or the Next time ( THEY will have greater confidence and be Prepared THAT is WHY ( YOU ) need to Get it into gear. You are hearing the VOICE of REASON here today. I have been where you are now. scratching ones head saying ( WHAT ) did they accomplish ? Other then being a pain in others way or style of life being sought out.. . Again ( REPEAT ) after Me. DO MORE with LESS> Make it Harder for anyone to just slip right in. 8 hours of solid effort. Will pay back dividends for many years and longer. . . LOCKS, CHAINS, CABLES, Barbed Wire, If the Buget Allows. More Tril cams and Booby Traps of sorts. Hidden behind rocks and leaves Downed Branches and The Debris for years gone by. Rocks are another earthly treasure. Make it A Challenge. Others will not want to Test yet again. TODAY is What ? A Reminder of how silly a Deal has transpired. Next time * THEY * will be the ones SUPRISED at your RESOLCVE. . . PRIVATE Property, NO TRESPASSING. Guard Dogs on watch. Anything is better then nothing. Have seen some with Motion activated Recordings. Its just another level to get those who try to mess with others belongings. YOU are AWARE. An ounce of Prevention is worth a Pound of Cure ( YES ) ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Heed these message. Again ( I ) was in your shoes. Not going back that way again....

We beefed up the lock and chain and will add more trail cameras. We also have people checking in on the property while we are not there. Thanks for watching.
