This episode helped me a lot through a big pile of dishes 😂 I always feel like I'm detailing. My wife loves it haha. Later this week I will get back to detailing the car so it is ready for the weekend. Wish I could come to the US and experience this house.
Watching this makes me so excited to finish my wash bay project in my garage. I did branch off the main house A/C, but I have no return and thermostat is in the house. When washing and a few hours after I will I have the fan running and have a diffuser above the car keeping the mist down and not allowing moisture up into the ducts. It won't be anywhere near this level, but it will serve its purpose.
Honestly though Matty look all the stuff that you’ve progressed through from your Raymond James days it must’ve been a big gamble for you to jump from that to obsessed garage store but I can see it in you it’s such a passion that you have. It’s very rare to find someone with passion like that that you could work for with the same amount of passion and intrigue and all the obsessed stuff. I’m really glad you were able to get to this point and I hope it works out for you!
That garage is a dream come true. And being able to wash your car inside in the ac. Man, I would never leave the garage. Maybe just to eat and poop. Lol. Congrats Matt and OG.
You can buy an ECU from your BMW dealership and have PSI install it and code it. I just did it to my sons 335is. The ECU was a cost that I didn’t want but as you said the prior owner flashed it and wasn’t done correctly and ruined it. The saving grace is that now it runs perfect. I love my E92 M3 but I do enjoy driving his car as well.
What a dream garage project. Just surreal. And great that you actually use it instead of worrying about a few water drops lol. Just missed a little mountain drive afterwards in the M2 CS.
I think you’re gonna need a sofa and a few club chairs in the garage. Maybe a glass too coffee table. That’s where everyone is going to hang out. What a fantastic series.

I got my brush stuck in my wheel yesterday too! How funny! I have washed my wheels 1000 times and never done that before. Not sure how I did that. Crazy!
I am laughing my complete ass off at the brush getting stuck in the CCBs. That’s exactly what happened to me with my G82. Stupid EZ detail got stuck behind that CCB heat shield and the black cap kept me from pulling it back out. I had to turn the drivers side wheel, and lay down to get it out. What a pain in the ass. You got it way faster than I did. I thought I was going to take the wheel off. I’m glad I’m not the only one that’s done it.
Although you do not seem to in a hurry (LOL) you could use a leafblower (battery powered) to get 98% of the water off the car. Subscribed as I am in the process of building the ultimate mancave too incl the detailing corner. Very intrested in your setup in regards to draining the floor. Not afraid your tools will corrode from the humidity or do you have AC working 24/7 (obviously we dont in NL)
I moved to Phoenix a couple years ago and have been dealing with always washing my car in the sun. I am salivating watching this video at the garage and set up! Amazing job and I know you'll have great success with this.

$5k is a very generous offering for all you get in a week’s stay. Speaking from experience, not opinion. Since I just paid the same for a VRBO 4500 sq. ft, 8 bedroom 8 bathroom Ocean front mansion for 3 days!!!
AutoFanatic’s new Hyper gloss 64:1 is a drying aid/topper like no other. Stuff is potent right out the bottle as a RTU waterless. I find diluting it down helps. I even tried 256:1 as a RW. Worked good, needed a spritz of 64:1 to get the slickness and shine. Love the stuff.
I dont know if you thought about it, or if it is even possible with your business. But looking in from the outside, this mountain house is "cooler" and with a bigger garage than your florida house. Plus you have great roads right in front of the door. Maybe moving completely in this mountain house would be an option too. Other than Obsessed Garage, not a lot is keeping you in florida. I dont know the tax or financial situation moving from state to state especially with a business.
RE the exhaust valve issue: Check the fuse box to see if the relevant fuse hasn't been pulled. There's a trick to forcing them open permanently by removing the fuse while they are in an open position.
@@ObsessedGarage I'd still give the fuses a look. The same "trick" would allow the exhaust valves to stay closed if the fuses were pulled while they were closed. Now why someone would do that is a mystery but it's possible.

I did the same thing with my EZ detail brush, and dust shields on ceramic brakes on my RS6. Had to go with the smaller brush for the front wheels. Matt, I feel your pain!
assuming you mean exhaust valves when you say valves. They just need to be reset to zero by ISTA. They used to be vacuum line controlled but now being electric they can easily get messed up when someone changes the exhaust and then goes back stock. Computer thinks valves are at one location when they’re in fact in another. Pretty easily done by someone. No need to change ECU.

You can literally see the mist going everywhere in this video. Amazing garage but it being drywalled and that small I don’t think I would be spraying water all over the place.
It’s not a OG vacation destination but a true OG “experience”. Also you need to get a couple of Oculus VR headsets with a built in walk through program of the house and garage.
Loving the content it has been incredible to follow along. I would also love to see Mike do a wash and talk with the F80. I love the M2 but the F80 is just too pretty!
Can you explain why you designed the washing system with a way to bypass the filtration system? Do you ever have a reason to not allow the water to pass through it? Just curious. thanks!
That rubber tip on the EZ detail brush sucks major balls. I get the damn thing wedged into my rotors on my BMW about every other wash. Definitely a design flaw.
Matt are you worried at all about the humidity in the garage or mist as far as the speakers are concerned? i realize they wont take a direct hit but didnt know what the cones,etc.. were made of. Beautiful home!
Hey Matt I think it would be a great video idea to do an ASMR/music video with those beautiful speakers in the background with you cleaning that "ugly and non impressive" 1🚗. Buddy that cs came out perfect!
Matt is doing a Real State Project Finance. The house will pay for itself. $5K is an incredible value proposition if you can detail and trade suspension and brakes with all the tools available. My only concern is auditing all the tools enrolled in the house, loanee after loanee, as there will wise guys trading their sore tired Milwauke tools and batteries for your new ones.

Matt, I am looking at buying Swisstrax flooring from OG. What flooring is in your Helen garage, Ribtrax Pro or Ribtrax Smooth Pro? I just recently installed a wall mount pressure washer and love the idea of washing cars inside the garage. How do the buckets and your Vyper chair roll on the flooring? Your garage is incredible! I will be booking a week. Thanks
That's the regular Ribtrax Pro, I have it in my garage and love it... You won't regret it! There's a little vibration on the buckets, but not enough to matter. My Vyper chair rolls across it like butter.
Hey Matt, Nice to relax and wash your car that was an awful lot of work. Could you tell any difference in the water there do you think it foamed better worse than in Florida? It looked to me may be slightly less but still plenty of foam just curious if you have had any thoughts have a good one.
Lol I feel totally the same way about the dealer service plans totally lame never want my cars at the dealer, they jack everything up I’m still pissed on the airbag recall on the Subarus and what they did to my glove box ass clowns.
