I'd love for ESP to release a "vintage" Snakebyte (even though I hate the shape). Finish checked and UV exposed nitrocellulose lacquer, aged chrome hardware and either the classic EMG 81/60 pickups or the Seymour Duncan Invader pickups from the RtL/MoP-era. Schaller hardware would also be a nice touch. Oh well, one can dream
Great video. I've just bought an LTD Snakebyte, so am watching all the videos on RU-vid! I love it when people get geeky about these guitars. I like the fact that it's starting to go yellow. Just like James' Justice explorer.
@@GeorgeVGuitars Ah, thanks for the info. That's not a problem for me as I managed to get one of the original gloss black ones. I've always wanted a gloss black ESP explorer, so my dream comes true today when I pick it up \m/
@@DerhamPaul-vo8fr nitrocellulose lacquer yellows as it ages, this is particularly noticeable on lighter/clear (that's why old Fenders often have yellow necks). Due to this, Het's old Gibsons, EET FUK and the Electra V are all more yellow than white nowadays
