Hi Faye. Thank you for this video. I'm 36, work 36hrs (nights) a week as a senior health care assistant. Finished my Access to nursing course in April and I've just been offered a place for adult nursing in Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge. I'm overwhelmed with emotions. Proud, anxious, excited, worried. The most worrying for me is wondering if I can still manage my 36hr work week with Uni? Any thoughts?
Thank you for stopping by, so happy it could help 🥰 in my experience, I guess during theory it COULD be possible, but very difficult because of work load, deadlines, exams etc, but during clinical placements, you are advised against working and some universities forbid it during clinical placements as you'll already be working 37.5 hours (on average) so always check with your university on their policy ❤ Also.. HUGE CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🥳🥰
