Fischer Tropsch strike again with the story of the guy haunted by today's hectic and suffocating world. Nothing is done by chance at Fischer Tropsch testing lab. As if it were the cult movie Memento, the chapters of the story told in "Dioxin" EP are being released with time leaps.
A few weeks ago, with the release of the first single “Broken Bolt”, the second episode of the guy's catharsis emerged: the initial roar of a psychotic crisis where he was unable to accept his reality, nor the world around him.
Now, the band presents "Relieving", which is the fifth and final episode of the story. Here, the leading character seems to find liberation. He decides to break with the imposed life model, going from a "Slave to the Wage", as Placebo told us years ago, to a relaxed and somewhat naive state. However, certain moments throughout the song reminisce about the internal conflict. Nothing is black or white. There is always a sense of doubt and concern that Fischer Tropsch know how to capture very well with their moments of darkness in this seemingly cheerful and bright song.
Now, we just have to wait for the release of "Dioxin" EP, where the full story of the character will be finally revealed.
