The Big Man goes out with a career defining album. Waverly Steps is absolute brilliance. I wish he was bigger in America, he is the greatest songwriter in the business.
Hey Derek you never fail to deliver. This is so Monumental what a set, full of memories past + present. Cheers Big Man. Fishheads Forever United WE Stand next to just another.
Fish...you are what makes Britain great and your discography speaks for itself being nothing short of monstrous...from the early days of Marillion to now listening to Weltschmerz...which by the way stands proudly with anything you've released. I played my mum Garden of remembrance and she started crying saying this is beautiful...she later said it reminded her of her father and that's just one of the reasons why your writing is epic...it transcends beyond the realms of all reasoning.⚘
Makes me proud to be Scottish when I look at what the big man has achieved. Seen him live through the stages of his career and have loved him as much now as I did when I first heard Script. And Cliche..... one of the greatest songs IMO 👌
You can really proud to be Scottish ! Scots are brilliant , especially Katie Tunstall , The Simple Minds , "Snakebite" Peter Wright and "The Flying Scotsman" Gerry Anderson and first of all our Fish and Marillion !
Take care and stay alive, this gift is incredible. we hope to see you soon. GOD BLESS YOU.
Thanks a lot Fish for this Christmas Present . The 1st time i've seen you 1987 in Berlin / Deutschlandhalle . You are the musician of my life Merry Christmas ...
🎸 🎸 🎸 🎸 🎸 🎸 🎸 🎸 Bravo Fish.... Weltschmerz..... 🎸 🎸 🎸 Bravo
Bloody hell that was good! ‘Ballet dancing’ in my front room lol 😃 THANK YOU! ...& Script/Cliche ! ..I sooooo need to hear this in real life. Hope lots of money is raised for your team etc 😘
Fallen in love with your music after hearing Kayleigh when I was 12 years old and still am ever since. Thanks for sharing and the wonderful idea behind it. ❤️
I haven't heard Fish for some time which is a pity because I have enjoyed this. I will be going back through his catalogue and hearing much more. Thank you.
I met Fish in Worcester (1995) before a gig, such a lovely man, even offered to get me a ticket, which had one already (£7.00). He probably dont remember me...😊
Thirty-six years in…I was home on leave (Coast Guard…), saw Kayleigh on MTV, bought ‘Misplaced’. Within a week? Owned entire extant oeuvre. ‘Nuff said.? Yeah…I’d say so! Slainte, y’all!
This Brings Back Memories of a very special time, my first time this far North East, first time by train over the fourth Bridge. So hopefully things will go back to some kind of normality. This has been a very difficult year for numerous reasons. But the new friends I met at this show have kept me having some faith.
Goosebumps all the way on this classic recording, late to the party but it stands up well to the times i have seen fish or marillion with fish in cocert, really good quality sound, fish sounds a bit wierd between songs anyone, and his voice seems to have dropped after the operation? but so has joni mitchells if you compare her early stuff to 80s stuff? Definitely a lived in voice ia? sounds beautiful to me and still brings a tear to my eye, thank you fish and band, may you get to play this set to many people, and i hope ill be there! w xox
Hello Fish ! Thanks for this LIVE... Big life to you and your dreams, poems, and songs full of fairy tales, lavender, and... Love. Really thanks ! A long fan since 33 years. Logh HORRUZZ from FRANCE
