Fish biriyani
1 kg seer fish
5 medium size onion
4 tomatoes
20 shallots
15 green chillies
2 medium size ginger
15 garlic
3 tbs curd
4 tbs nuts
1 bunch coriander leaves
1 bunch mint leaves
2 tbs lime juice
1/4 cup hot water
Salt
Dry masala( for powdering )
5 tbs fennel seeds
3 tbs whole pepper
2 medium cinnamon sticks
9 cardamom
7 cloves
fish marinade
Salt
Pepper
Turmeric
Method
In a Kadar add chopped onions, once the onions turns brown add crushed ginger, garlic, green chillies, and shallots, saute until it turns light brown in colour, then add tomatoes, saute until it turns mashy , then add powdered masala , saute and add fried fish , cook until the fish is cooked, then add cashew, curd , coriander, mint paste , add 1/4 cup hot water let it boil .add lime juice .check the salt
For biriyani rice
3 cup long grain rice
6 to 7 cups hot water
Salt
Ghee
For tempering
Cinnamon
Cardamom
Cloves
Bay leaves
Layer the rice and fish masala as shown in the video and bake at 160 degree for 1 hour
Do not forget to cover with foil
And garnish with fried onion, kismiss, and nuts
