So all those times when I go diving and snorkeling with friends and I've been hearing sounds like these it was actually them gossiping about strange oversized critters called humans? 😳
Do the fish actually "hear" the sounds or are they "feeling" it? It wouldn't really make sense for fish, living in water and all, to have an actual auditory system because of how sensitive that is to pressure, right? So they probably just feel the sound waves in the water.
Interesting question! Thanks to the link to dosits.org that someone left in the comments here, we have the answer! "Fishes are approximately the same density as water, so sound passes right through their bodies, which move in concert with the traveling sound wave. Fishes have structures in the inner ear, called otoliths, which are much denser than water and a fish’s body. Otoliths are made of calcium carbonate and their size and shape is highly variable among species. Because of the density difference between the fish’s body and the otoliths, the otoliths move at a different amplitude and phase in response to sound waves than the rest of the fish. The difference between the motion of the fish’s body and the otoliths results in bending of the cilia on the hair cells that are located in the inner ear. This differential movement between the cilia and the otolith is interpreted by the brain as sound." dosits.org/animals/sound-reception/how-do-fish-hear/
*they're An easy way to remember contractions is to note that the apostrophe is used to replace the missing letter or letters of two combined. They're is they are. You're is you are. Y'all is you all. Once you remember that rule, you'll (you will) never make that mistake again!

That sounds like one individual and yet the video is showing around 30 so I am having a difficult time buying that noise is coming from them. You would hear much more than what the audio is indicating. Plus, . .isolating that noise out of all of the other creatures you can't see, . . .not buying it.
