@@gurribuy I fed this to my goldfishes they like it soo much they get very fast and eat it quickly my oranda and shubunkin like this my other goldfish also like this, i just bought this yesterday i will update this soon
smell is the best way to tell. However it kind of smells like tobacco or lime(chemical) Buy it from a local shop first. your are more likely to get original product there.
Tetra bits is my favourite fish food. I have also used pink optimum. Tetra bits is better than optimum. you need to try a couple of fish food and see which food your fish likes most.
@@gurribuy sir currently I am feeding them optimum but it sinks in the water so after feeding them tetra bits it will become difficult to find their food right? As it didn't sink in water
@@sachinrawat7918 Koi and goldfish both will eat at the bottom. But remember, every tank and every fish behaves differently so result can always vary. Try it for yourself and develop your own understanding and experience.
Which type of food is best for iridescent sharks.... Sinking or flaoting... And plz suggest nay particular brand for. Them plz they aren't eating pellet ones
Bro, its always a hit or miss with fish food. you will have to try different foods and use what your fish eats. you can try tetra bits, Also, if the fish are sick they will stop eating sometimes.
you can put this food in any tank but we all know some food always gets trapped in the gravel no matter what food you use. So, just feed what your fish can eat, possible a floating food or bigger size food.
@@rohitrajk9389 that's what i kind of implied when i mentioned the smell. I have kept an opened pack for more than one year and it did not go bad. Basically, dry fish food don't go bad as long as you keep it in dark, away from moisture and heat. So, even if you have opened the seal just make sure to close the lid after feeding and it should last you as long as the food itself lasts.

@@payalroybarman9351 if u r using tap water then just use anti chlorine @ water changes,if ur molly fish is healthy then don't need to add any medicine or salt in water...

i don't have any cichlid fish so can't say for about cichlid in particular. But, All the fish that i have fed this to have eaten it without any problem, and it does appear to enhance color in the fish. I recommend you should try this food at least once.
Hi! My tetra bits complete is turning green inside. Does this mean it is already expired? It was very red orange before. Now most of it has this green pigment. Please help
It could be some fungus growing on the fish food. I have never observed this with my tetra bits. Its possible that the food is expired or developed fungus because of moisture or touching the fish food with wet hands.
it does not sink that quickly. some particles may sink immediately but some will linger at the surface for some time. You guppy will have enough time to eat at the surface and may also eat at the bottom. guppies swim all over the tank and if they find any food at the bottom, they will eat at the bottom as well.
@@gurribuy just a random question, is it suitable for angelfish? Like my angel has trouble eating floating pellets being middle feeders i expect that but i don't know which ones to go for because the bottom feeders will eat the wafers and there aren't many mid sinking foods available...
@@ananydixit4241 you should definitely try this food. What i have learned is that every tank is like an experiment. Sometimes things work and sometimes they don't. Fish usually adapt to the situation. And what works for others may not work for your tank. Just don't get stuck up with what is generally believed about a fish's eating habit.
you, can use this food in planted tanks. good results. But, the food will depend on the type of fish your are keeping. However, for any small fish they are usually kept in planted tanks this food will work well. you can also buy some blood worms(little expensive) as a treat for your fish.
@@gurribuy im having neon tetra, guppy and bettas bro and planing to add barbs other tetras suggest some best food for current fishes and future fishs bro which wouldn't damage the water.
Can i give it for my recently bought small mollies. I feed them optimum company's food they are eating it happily. But which is good for their health and growth, because i think among them 2 mollies are pregnant.
you can buy this food and alternate between this and optimum. This way you will have two option for your fish. One thing about this food is, when feeding crush this food between your finger a little bit and then feed it to your fish.
you can feed this to any fish, when feeding crumble the particle in between your fingers a little bit before feeding. Also everybody's fish is different some fish will like the food some may not like it.
The one that i have is not duplicate, but i agree there are some duplicates in the market and i don't know how to spot them. I just buy them from a trusted local shop and it works great for me and does not even murky the water.
your have to try this food for you discus, first. Maybe they will like it. One thing i can tell you is that every fish is different, for example if your friend's discus likes a particular fish food; it is not necessary that your discus will like it too. If you ask me i have tried the tetrabits with 3 discus of my friend, two of them ate it and the third never touched the food.
i tried feeding optimum to my fish but the fish did not like it. When i use to keep guppies i would feed them cheap micro pellets and the fish liked it, not sure whether it was good for the fish or not. After a lot of searching i have settled on tetrabits because of the good value for money. I also tried hikari stuff and the fish liked it but it was very expensive for me.
@@movieclips3889 you can feed it to your fish without any problem. If your fish is bigger than 3 inches then this food might be a little expensive because bigger fish would eat more food.
