okay back to comment again love the way you added a foot to the plain 3.5x3.5 on the table bed the interior metal plating is like fireproofing i would've gone for that on the roof but the rubber works gotta build me a couple sets pf beast drop down wheels like ya got want mine to go 8x16 interior but then roads so i might have to reengineer design on paper b4 i try any supply buying the color pattern pops real nice and using only the industrial grade paint and bolts grade8 somehow you made it look bigger than it is loved seeing all the wiring and redoing blips even if shortened to keep attention spans... i got some air pistons from work i was thinking of using for the raise lower to kick more blocks under to freeze into ice and then solar on the roof and a mobile vertical axis wind turbine for fun running from a reverse hooked extension cord for 12v only aka direct current make my own ice hole sleeves with 5gallon buckets so if i loose a lid it's 1$ to replace or so and they got these 7$ spinner lids which i already love for boating every canoe trip or rafting it keeps phones safe with a small anchor and spool of line to hold it's position or at least slow it's movement in rivers when it falls in but atm I'm building an ice carousel for my 30lb thrust minkota trolling motor
You could use the spring loaded cabinet locks if you did want to use handles . Open doors by pushing in and it releases door enough to pull open. Just my thouo
Watched all three in one sitting, anxious for part 4 to see where and how you install all the holes. I kept thinking you forgot them when you were working on the floor. Great job on the build. I do most of my projects from salvaged materials also. You do quality work. would love to hoist a beer with you and maybe even try to fish!
Thanks man I appreciate that! 🙌🏻 It was a close fit on the holes since it’s a pop up camper frame, but I managed to get 4 in there, could do 5, but I decided to just do 4. Also hell yes, I’m always down for a beer! 🍻
Awesome build so far dude, I can't wait until the next video. I've actually watched part 1 and 2 probably 5 times each waiting on this video and will most likely do the same on this one waiting on 4. lol
Loved watching this little series! I hope to build a 5x8 one-man shack I can pull with a wheeler. Got some great ideas from this, putting pen to paper to start designing the frame, then its build time!
I found your vids, as I'm getting ready to do my own fish house/dark house, watched 1 2 3 to the ends. Gotta support ya since I'm a Minnesota guy as well, so you gained another sub. What part of MN are you in I'm Northern around Bemidji area.
Watched all even watched the othe videos on it.. you are the closes to my camper idea but I may have to change my mind when I get the money an make drop axles
Hell yeah! Thanks for watching man I appreciate it. 🙌🏻 When it comes time for you to build yours, if you have any questions feel free to ask, I’d be happy to share anything I know to help.
@@ThingsChrisDoes when the time comes were I can start on my project again ill have to. I tore the pop up apart last summer an did some welds to strengthen but was halted at that point cause of the prices of metal an other crap
@@Joshnelson2003 I hear ya there man, if you can get your hands on anyone's reclaimed materials, or keep an eye out for people renovating their houses, see what you can find in the scrap piles, and let er friggen buck! Good luck man!
Great walk through of your build , tutorial on point. Cheers to the new sub's and growing your channel . Looking forward to future content , be well and atb ! ps... I found your channel after seeing your comment on Aaron's recent upload 👍 cool beans bro !
Thanks so much for watching and subscribing man! I appreciate it a ton. It’s been an adventure so far, hopefully going to take it our and test it before the ice is too shitty to drive on.
Wish I could have see this earlier. the thermal bridging will make your walls sweaty behind the wood paneling.I had done the exact same thing as you did but never painted it. The steel created so much moisture it soaked through the paneling and is moldy inside of the wall sorry again
Watched 1 & 2 watching 3 now . like it all great job . But I but I do have a question did you patch the whole where you took that vent off the ceiling or did you just lay the rubber straight over the hole . Yes I subscribed .
Thanks for watching and subscribing, I appreciate the support! Yes, I did patch it up, I ended up having some flat sheet metal laying around, so I glued it to the ceiling, and that made it pretty solid, so I kept on truckin. Enjoy part 4!!
@@ThingsChrisDoes watched all 4 . Awesome little hut . I live about 5 minutes from the Coors brewery here in Colorado . I used to work there . You know they got all their beers on tap in the lunchroom you can drink as much as you want . Well 2 at lunch and all you want after work .
Thanks for the comments and watching the channel! 🙌🏻 I feel like I’m being traffic throttled because of my potty mouth 😂 but someday this channel might get there.
