That looks great!! I might just consider this route instead of a 50mm hole in the hull for a thru-hull. I noticed something in the video... Extended trim tabs... What is the purpose of this? Did it make a significant change (good or bad) ?? Does it help to get the heavy rear out of the water at trolling speeds?? :)

Nice install Mike! I assume it has been used and tested at this point, are you having any issues? cavitation? bubbles? jet wash?

Its much better than the original. In all aspects. As for cavitation it doesn't create any just enhances handling and track better at slow speed trolling. All and all very happy.

Mike, just got my belly mount plate and mirror mount from you. Thanks. Trying to figure out how to route the cable from my ducer forward. In this video, what’s the cap that you put over the hole you made? The part where you first used flex seal? Did you manufacture or 3D print that piece? Any lessons learned or other ways you’d suggest getting the cable inside and forward? Thanks.

That's awesome. how deep you drill those holes in the ride plate? I thought there was coolant running through it? I guess it doesn't hit the coolant passages?

Well because I decided that more was better. However you can decide what is the correct amount for you and your application.

Nice! So do you have the measurements for it? Or do i have to send you my transducer for fitment? Somebody told me that my transducer are similar to Lowrance and they’re both “Total scan transducer”.

Mike, would this be plug and play with the new 72SV that comes on the fish pro trophies? I.e. use your mount and a side vu transducer and no other mods necessary?
