Muskingum River with a dash of creek fishing made for an exciting weekend of fishing. I needed to find a couple bass for the NAPRA series pro wading event and holy smokes I found a creek giant!!! Managed some awesome fish on the Muskingum river targeting foam mats! Always remember to cast to the foam and hold on tight!

Thanks for reminding me about how good the Muskingum is. I spend a ton of time fishing the Licking and forget the Muskingum. Great video congrats on the 3rd place finish.

Out in front of u there's a concrete wall tat goes ALL the way to the dam that was the old feed mill back then. The next bolk head that was in front of u is a point it not deep but the fish are everywhere in there. Across the river on the other side is where u need to be when the water comes down go there you'll see what I mean great video

the first spot ive fished there a few times. my first time i was there caught a bunch of small bass, a decent catfish and my first bowfin.

How prevalent is cheating in those types of tournaments when you have to take a photo of your catch. I know there is a code you have to include in your photo, but with photoshop etc…

It is an honor system. But getting a code the night before it starts keeps folks honest!

Sometimes we do paper weight in our tournaments, but generally we bring the fish in. Going up to Erie on Friday to get after some smallies. Big difference between Erie ones and creek ones, but they fight like hell!
