@@BassFishingProductions 🫤 seems a little dumb. I read that due to their strength and ability to fight off other fish, this could be the reason why other fish don’t necessarily target them other than their own adult kind that would eat the babies.
The canals that bullseye snakehead live in are polluted with many nasty chemicals such as methylmercury so it would be best to not eat these fish. You can go online and check the FWC recommendations on eating fish from South Florida canals. The pollution is so bad that FWC tells pregnant woman to avoid eating predator fish from many South Florida canals and other bodies of water.
Watching you is the best thing ever like I got so many little puns around me and I have never thought about ever going fishing in them or putting a fish trap until I start watching your videos thank you
There’s a theory that because of the colors of snake heads most fish ignore them. Euthanasia via clove oil can also put a scent on them. I’d be more likely to agree that the smell of ammonia from the dead fish didn’t smell appealing. I’d definitely see what people think as to why they didn’t eat them, not once, but twice in two different setups. As always; love the videos and wish you all the best!
I have a pond and would love some suggestions. Plz make a video on how you do maintenance on your pond(s) and it would be amazing if you made a tutorial. :)
Channa Marulius, or as you guys call it bullseye snakeheads are very expensive exotic fish here even the babies cost so much, and in Florida you guys just feed it to your fish (but thats the right thing to do there for sure)
Murrels are iconic fish..they r not invasive..all fishes exist every where..Murrels r high demand fish for eating in many country and this keep ponds and lakes clean..fresh water fish swim back n fourth where they can live in fresh water in lakes as well as river..Ruhu fish, grass craps, tilapia, katla fish, murrels etc this all fishs r found in lakes as well as rivers..if any fisherman or fishing person catches Murrel its his happy day because those fish are very demand and tastyand also crucial for rivers and lakes..what ever become less in world but fish in ponds and river and ocean wont become less how much ever u hunt them they will be fish always and fish is one animal which is always hunger and eats all time because it swimming all the time and humans cannot feed fish its upto God, God provides them..in mouth of whale a elephant can go in that much tons of fish it gulps in one time..
Bro In India before there was only Musheer fish and common carps. but some time years before someone brought Tilapia somewhere now Tilapia is spread and found in ever lakes and also murrels and Rupchand fish(Pirana type fish) we call this also some brought for fisheries sometime before but they r found in many lakes n ponds now..its nature and catching them or sensing them being in lakes is good thing.. Predetory fish all r alike..big fish eats small fish..Bass fish eats smaller murrels, murrels eat other small fish and bass..in fish world the bigger the fish it eat smaller fish even of its own kind. Even Catfish is eatten by bigger fish but when Catfish is very big enough it eats smaller fish..its a cycle that way.what ever becomes less in world but fish in lakes, river and ocean wont become less how much u fish them there will be always fish. And fish is one animal that is always hunger and eats all the time because its roaming always..humans cannot feed fish its upto God, God provides them..in whales mouth entire elephant can go in that tons of fish it eats in one gulp that much eating also other animals eating fish also humans take out ton of fish from Sea..
Sup Bobby. Great video. Great job getting those babies, should be got the big ones too lol.. Very strange why some fish won't eat them? Maybe full? Hope someone knows. Ty tc
Could be that the fish have come to know baby snake head as an attack waiting to happen. They know if they try the parents will attack. Just like crocs in Australia have stopped eating cane toads because they are realizing the threat.
Fun video and amazing haul. Not suggesting you break the law but it would be amazing if a baby accidentally fell into pond x or your pacu pond. If it helps, I started this video two separate times and watched four full ads. 🙃
I realize some of the waterways and byways you travel to are not as pristine as others.....Have you ever considered putting some of the tallapia on your human dinner table? Some of the other fish you catch are pretty thick fleshed, are any of them suitable for human consumption?
But here in the state of Maryland there trying to make the Northern Snakehead a game fish meaning that you can only catch and release them or they will put a bag limit on them which I think is ridiculous because there evasive fish just like catfish
Snakehead is now to have no natural enemy. When the grow to adult size they become the apex predator and the babies were be protect by the adult one at list there are two adults protect them.
The fish don't eat snakeheads bc their heads are very tough and if cracked the gill part will be sharp, so in our place only fish like climbing perch and freshwater turtles eat them when young, so they really are top predators,if you see my channel profile, you can see i catch them and the turtles eat the fins and tails of big ones and when big their skin is tougher than anything
