Fish under frozen Pangong Lake @ 4400 m 

In April 2018, I visited Pangong Tso / Lake in Changthang /Eastern Ladakh bordering China and India. I found a Brown-headed Gull feeding by the bank of frozen Pangong Lake.
April is freezing cold at this height and I doubted availability of fish for the lone Gull. Out of curiosity I walked close to the bank of the river and looked for what the Gull was feeding on, and to my surprise I found a school of small fish in freezing cold saline water. Trying to find out from experts as what species of Fish are found at this height in saline and freezing lake like the Pangong Tso in Ladakh..
