Fishbone stitch is one of the beautiful #basic_embroidery for beginners. #Fishbone_stitch is a filling stitch,useful for shaped motifs or wide bands. Bring the thread through at the first point and make a small straight stitch along the center line of the shape. Bring the thread through again at the next point and make a sloping stitch across the central line at the base of first stitch. Bring the thread through at another point and make a similar sloping stitch to overlap the previous stitch. Continue working alternately on each side until the shape is filled.
