Plus, that disclaimer…I feel this shouldn't require just a disclaimer, but rather it should just be illegal to be *this* inaccurate when advertising a game, requiring a good chunk of the video to be gameplay or something.
they dont have to. thats the scam. 95% of these companies are actually just the same parent company identifying through different aliases so the app stores dont give them the boot. these games are pay per download. so it doesnt matter how bad the game actually is, once you download it theyve already won. the scam works by using "cookie cutter games". cookie cutter games are open source codes that you can use (typically for free) that already contain a completed game code. all it requires are visual assets that you have to create and insert yourself. once they do that they advertise it as something more interesting to trick you into downloading it. additional income comes from ad revenue because these kinds of games are packed with loading ads along with micro transactions. the main target audience for these are children who dont know any better, who would have their parents download it for them and keep playing regardless. theres no incentive to actually make a better game when you can make 10+ cookie cutter games with the most minimal amount of effort and make a near 6 figure salary based on all of the downloads, ad revenue, and micro transactions you receive across all games.
@@TheFI4X Yeah, even though Bejeweled was just inspired from Shariki or ColorGame, but it's one of the classic tile-matching games which now almost completely forgotten.
I can advocate that fishdom wasn’t always like this. Before mobile games became such a craze, I played the original fishdom on a dell laptop. Sure it was still a match 3 game, but it owned it and showed actual gameplay when it showcased itself. No in-app purchases either. How far the mighty have fallen, eh?
first the trend was a fake house fixing game that i can’t find an actual game of, and now it’s a fake water/lava pins game that probably doesn’t exist either?
My mom is adicted to fishdom since 2016. Back then the ads were actually real. My mom saw an ad of it, it showed actual gameplay. Since 2019 (I think) Playrix, the company of fishdom just started making fake ads for all their games. It's really disappointing how they changed.
@@mikeymladi9279 btw, you can watch my compilation of those horrible mobile game ads from Playwrecks (Playrix). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pwH1uqnLCho.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qEt6qkdgtPE.html Also check out this video as well. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Pbxp5G2Cg5A.html
What the developers don't get is that I enjoy those puzzle games that are shown on the ads, but you know what they say "Reality is often disappointing"
Fishdom: Ads: *PoUR EiTHer LaVA OR watER On NEMo* Real Game: *A damn 3-match game* (EDIT 1): Thank you for 23 likes, I really appreciate it!🙂🙂 (EDIT 2): Thank you for 36 likes, I really hope I can reach 50!
Actually, I think that's a good idea for the next video to include present mobile ads that still honest to their gameplay, to increase their publicity and also to encourage them to make better ads.
There's a reason why Playrektx is the king of shoving "FAIL" into the viewers' throats. Little did they know, they are the ones who are labelled as "FAIL(URES)" in reality.
@@NoLuckJKMY807 And That's Why We Pray All -Playrix- Playrektx's Employees Infected COVID-19 And Died Later. The Company Were Defunct After *ALL EMPLOYEES* Failed To Manage Their Lives.
I thougt it would be like homescapes cause i already had homescapes installled BUT IS A FU**ING AND BORING AQUARIUM WHERE U ONLY DO CANDY CRUSH TO MAKE THE AQUARIUM LOOK GOOD AND THE AQUARIUM IN ITS OWN SEEMS TOO BORING TO F DECORATE IT
Not Surprising but every game in this series have been the opposite, including this one. Why can’t we have better ads, they have the budget but only to spam these ads everywhere. I don’t know if they ever want to stop these ads
I used to play it, along with homescapes until I got a new tablet. It was pretty fun, but I don’t like how they use fake ads. Also, after a few dozen levels the game becomes practically impossible to beat unless you get in app purchases
The developers would make so much more money if they made a game exactly like the ads, because that game doesn't have all the expensive graphical details of the actual game, it's simple yet complex, it's something short to pass the time, in general they made a mistake not making their game more like the ads At least the ads aren't as disgusting as the gardenscape ones though.
Although it's false advertising, I do appreciate it a lot that they put the "Bloop" as the final boss on the eating game. I would love to see a clown fish bigger than the "Bloop" and swallow the legendary "Bloop"
We live in an unfortunate time where companies get super lazy at showing actual gameplay when it comes to advertisements for their mobile games. It's nothing short of corporate greed as well as quantity over quality.
gasstar tag game of war cats was one i never wanted to play game of war because it is medieval I’m more into modern then medieval and to make things more misleading they made a game of war cats add wear you can teleport your cat into a game or some how scan your cat into the game that is to redickoulis to be true.
Actually, you can play the game in the actual game, sometimes when you beat a level it will offer you to play a minigame, and that minigame is what you saw in the ads.
This is like those ads for adult only games with some medieval babe asking you to "come play with me my lord" or something to that effect, but as it turns out the actual game is anything BUT what was advertised.
This game is so needy. I made it to level 68 and now have to spend more than 30 minutes completing one level, also have to come back to the app to feed my fish. It's really absorbent of my time
