That was amazing. Fisheating Creek, the campground back then, and now again, made me who I am. It was where I first went camping as a kid in the early 70'. First time sleeping in a tent. First time in a canoe, especially gliding along foggy water early in the morning. That part I can never forget. First time jumping off a dock and into the river, next to the canoe house back then. Wayman, or something similar, was the kid that showed us how and encouraged us to try. First time ever on a rope swing. Man, I could go on an on about how many firsts that place gave me. Still deep in my heart, and I have visited the State Park a couple of times recently. It brought back chills of happiness just seeing the river and some of the old, original camp sites still along the old part of the river within the park. Awesome place for sure. Thanks again for a great documentary, and I am so happy to see that you are keeping that rare slice of Florida preserved. Looks like you are being an exemplary steward of your land.
