It is a great machine and I believe it would really be a perfect first machine for many new treasure hunters! It nailed those dimes that's for sure. Thanks so much for watching! ~John
I’ll tell you guys I’ve seen a lot of test videos this is probably one of the best ones I’ve ever seen keep up the good work happy hunting and will see you soon
Thanks so much brother. Really appreciate it! Definitely will be doing a hunt with you soon! Can't wait! Thanks for watching and take care my friend! ~John
Thanks so much! It was a little different doing a review and hunt. But it was fun and cant wait till the next one. Thanks for watching and take care! ~John
I have one of these I bought for my wife. There is a volcanic lake here where there are 3 resorts. The volcanic rock is infested with iron. It wreaks havoc on most machines. The F22 works great there. 2 weeks ago I found 2 Mercs, and 13 wheaties with it. I was hunting against 2 F75's, and an Apex. It is an amazing little machine.
Absolutely!! For the price range of the machine and what it can do is crazy. Really like this machine as well. It would be a great choice for anyone starting or already metal detecting. Thanks so much for watching and all the best luck on your next hunt! Take care. ~John
Nice hunt for first outing on F22. See Bob latched on to it, guess when your the oldest you pull rank. John great finds of the merc and cross. JoJo you got the eyes and strike speed of a viper grabbing the finds. So much fun watching you guys.
That was super fun testing the F22. It is a really great machine and suprising for being a entry level machine. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Take care my friend! ~John
It’s on a big sale right now on Amazon. I might swoop one up for my first detector. Would y’all get this for a first one or are their others in this price point you prefer over it? With the sale I wonder if they have a new version coming lol that’s how it normally goes lol. I live near a beach and this seems durable. Does it have swappable heads? I’m new to all this. Lol
It is a great starter machine and I fo believe they have different coils for it. Just be careful st the beach as it is water resistant not water proof so you can't submerge it. For the price range I believe it is a great machine.
THIS WAS A GREAT REVIEW! I was thinking of buying one that someone has for sale locally, but after this review,, it's a done deal! Pretty much all metal detector reviews are of people laying the detector on a table and running an object passed the coil. That didn't tell me how the detector would work on items actually buried in the ground out in the field. Plus, you shown the numbers showing the possible metal it was detecting as well as how to use/how well the depth option worked! And,, you had just more than one opinion made of it at the end , which was very helpful on top of everything else you offered in this video! Great video! Thank you so much for posting it,, as well as not having some big loud obnoxious beginning that most guys have,, as if they have some largely produced cable channel! Right to the video! Awesome!! You are great down to earth guys, who if lived local to me, I would love to hang with!
The pin pointers are a whites trx and a minelab pro find 35. Both really great pin pointers. Also being that you bought the Fisher machine maybe che k out their pin pointer as well. The Fisher F-Pulse. Also a great pointer.
Thank you for the great video. I just recently purchased a Fisher F22 and since I live on a 150 year old homestead I will be swinging on the homestead. A great way to continue to be active and in the out of doors at 74
I've had mine for about 5 years and found everything from Wheaties to mercs and even an1861 Morgan dollar. I have found 3 gold and 2 silver rings. I use the F-Pulse pin pointer with it.
I bought a 44 for my GF and took her to the beach, told her how to do it and she swung it like three times and came up with a gold ring,🏆 I like how light it is and i'm getting a 22 for my grandaughter, Just could not buy any of those Chinese junk machines :)) for a lot less I have a 75 LTD and there might be times I would want to use that 44 Good review boys...Come to Japan someday
Nice vid, thanks for sharing.... how do you think this will be with gold? I live in AZ.... thinking for a MD that is great for gold, but cant spend $1k at the moment lol
25:41 Why is it that the only very interesting find you didn’t actually catch on camera? It looks like some pretty suspect week slight of hand. His hands goes out of frame like there’s nothing in it and it brings back a perfectly shiny coin with no dirt on it. Nice try though. I was enjoying the video until that moment
The problem with getting a product for free for the purpose of reviewing many folks will have nothing but positive things to say and that is understandable but for a guy looking to by a new metal detector it is a biased review and you cannot get the real drawbacks of said product
I can see where this could be true, but like anything you are looking to invest in you should always do the research in that product and choose based upon what you feel is the best product for your needs.
Is this made in USA? Which pin pointer is that? Really want to start this hobby. Been fascinated by it since i got a cheap on for Christmas back in the 70s. Retired now. Plenty of time to do it.
Went and bought an outdoor projector for freedom 500 next weekend so I am outside testing it out by watching my neighbors the Groene boys metal detect.... 😂
That is awesome!!! Lol. Is the Freedom machine a Garrett? I believe I am thinking of the right one. Anyway good luck and I hope you find the treasures. Thanks so much for watching my friend and take care! ~John
