I've been wearing mine like this since I was younger and was working on fishing boats. I never worried that much about what went with it. I wear jeans flannel shirts with insulated shirt under it or t shirt over insulated shirt. I'm not a poser though I actually worked as a fisherman.

Fisherman's beanies are life! 😄 I have been growing out my hair since march and they are my go to weapon against those bad hair days and all the different akward stages. On top, they really make the whole outfit look so much better.

I was browsing thru Monki when i saw this black & white beanie that i totally fell in love with but sadly when i went back to purchase it they're gone, since then i've been looking for a beanie thats similar to it.. I searched "half beanie" and "short beanie" and found out its actually called FISHERMAN beanie 😂 I've always wanted to rock the beanie look simply because i have bad hair day 99% of the time + it looks hella comfy, but i always look weird in it.. Till i found the fisherman beanie and fortunately it looks great

The true term is actually called the Watch Cap made popular by the navy and sailors during the second world war. It made its resurgence again around 2010 thanks to the popular street style blog Street Etiquette the nautical themed was very popular around the early 2010's

I wear em during all seasons. Either that or some type of cap. I have that murder one though, so I'm always trying to protect my head from sunburn as that is not fun, gives you a massive headache, and makes it hard to shave your head.

Maybe it's the one I have, but it doesn't stay on my head. If I move around a lot the beanie falls off and my hat hair is revealed. I love the look though, keeps my head nice and warm.

How do you cover your ears during winter cold time tho? I mean, it's cool, but it doesn't protect your ears as a normal beanie would do. That's maybe the only reason I'm not gettin one.

tbh im never in a cold enough place, if I was then id wear another head piece. I use a fisherman beanie as an accessory not really for functional use. Similar to a cap in summer time, I use it more as a styling tool instead of blocking the sun from my eyes :)

I prefer the look of the 1460 i dont own any of those and that is my opnion the only pair of dr martens i own are the adrians and they are sooo comfortable

Nice man! Ok so I personally like the 1461 just a little bit more as I can get a lot more use out of them but I do still love the boots. But I find the low tops are an easier way to introduce yourself to docs. Hope this helps man haha
