Honestly, if you are on the water daily or even weekly going for some megas, a badass spinning reel will make your life all the easier....of course for $1200 you could buy 10 new PENN Battle II 8000s or 3 8000 and 3-4 coastal fishing trips worth of fuel. This is a lambo of fishing tackle. A good truck will get you there too (just not as elegantly).
