We live in exciting times, when big studios are going through hardness of empty stories and characters, but single artists and minor independent groups and studios have a great chance to produce their artworks and get an attention they deserve. I think it's a real wonder, and I really love it.

Recently, I have begun to think that a lot of shows don’t utilize the full potential of animation, to display motion, the potential to make every shot art, to capture a feeling that is impossible with a static image. And right after I came to the conclusion, I see this. Whatever this is, I love it and I will give it my full support

this was one of the most visually appealing trailers I have ever seen.

I've seen this in my recomended for like a week and didn't pay attention because I thought it was some kind of AAA roguelike cellshaded RPG trailer and I wasn't interested in buying a new game. Naturally, when I finally watched it, I was blasted to see this was not only done by a single person, but also visualy inspiring, with some seriously fascinating world building concepts. You've got some serious talent and I'm absolutely sure this will grow into something great

This series reminds me of the Animatrix, which is the highest praise I can levy. Specifically the short "Matriculated," which I'm sure you can understand the comparison; even on just a visual level. The way you use stark contrast and vivid saturation to tell us implicit details about your setting means that there are several scenes where words are unnecessary. Truly, impressive work!

Oh, this is awesome. I just LOVE the title "Fishermen", so its a heavy religious theme, "searchers/hunters for the Son of God", it gives me goosebumps 🤩

finally the animatrix sequel we were hoping for

Idk how you know that, whether it's a common thing, but this is exactly how I felt when I was in a coma. Constantly floating towards nothingness; nothing in front of you nor behind you yet you can see as the surroundings change. I was mostly floating until the moment when I saw... cubes. Red cubes perfectly spaced out and in a circle, floating, rotating and turning slowly but uncontrollably. Until I happened to be sat on one of them. A face, or rather a mask, in front of me. What quickly was human sized transformed gently into monstrous, expressionless wall. As the mouth opened, my heart raised, knowing I cannot even move, scream, turn away, or even close my own eyes, I entered. I was travelling through, what it seems to be an endless tunnel, just like the one in the last seconds of this video. Being so tiny, with an ever expanding rings as you float, still seated, into one direction. What felt like a solid hour, was 2 weeks in real time. You honestly got me here on this one. I'm shocked.

Angel's Egg vibes through and through, and I love it. I love the fact that a lot of this has a hand-drawn quality to it, even though it is clear the humanoid bodies are done in the new CGI style. This is disturbing, and enticing, and beautiful. The sound design also is incredible. For the love of God, don't sit on this. Please complete this; the world needs good work like this.

I love this artwork so much, the transitions from the organic robot things to the "humans" is unnerving and breathlessly beautiful. I'm pretty sure this is rotoscoped animation, the sets looked like analog medical movie sets, and the doctor and patient seemed to be actual human beings with a composite of a painted and shaded transparency to it, but for sure the more ethereal, sci-fi, and psychedelic the animation got, the clearer I could tell what was analog and what was digital. Beautiful quality to it's design aesthetic. A nice mixturo of HR Giger and French Sci Fi Comic Icon Moebius.

If it wasn't for the smoothness of the animation I would've thought this was hand drawn

It’s really cool that people are using 3-D animation pipelines to produce sequences that look hand-drawn. It’s a much more respectable use of the technology than just having everything be a Toy Story clone.
