If you don’t want them in your system, control the population. After all, they all suffer from the same pathogens, bacteria and virus. Keep silver populations healthy to keep bacterial pathogens from multiplying and effecting the broad population of your prized carp!
You have a population explosion? Well done, that’s a sign that you’ve created a fertile ecosystem in which all organisms are functioning and supporting the next. However, you can’t rest! You need to harvest your crop every winter to keep the cycle going! Still want to be a fishery manager? 😂
