This was recommended to me recently but it hurt my heart to watch it, but I'm watching it now and just, wow, my first thought is that of course every day is a blessing and our babies are gifts, but THIS DAY was a gift from God to you Granger. What a gift to treasure . . . just wow. I'd hold that little car in my pocket forever if I were you. And I say this because I've watched some of your interviews recently and you said how you felt his mission was complete, so that's why I feel safe saying this to you. God knew and he gave you this beautiful day with just you and him. You guys have another prayer warrior on your side watching your videos. May God and an army of many angels surround your beautiful family till you all meet again one day when your missions are complete. I believe our loved ones are waiting for us and when we get there it's like the blink of an eye since we saw them last. God bless. 🙏

You know... I'm not a parent, probably won't be for at least a few more years or so. But I am a big brother in a pretty significant 11 year age gap and everytime I think of you guys losing River I think back to when my brother was 3 and how unbelievably tough it would be to lose someone at such a young and pure age. I've literally been thinking about it since I heard the news yesterday and I am heart broken. After watching your videos and experiencing your lives these past few months I truly feel like I know your family which makes it hurt even more, to me and everyone else in your audience You, Amber, London, Lincoln, and River have all become part of our families, therefore have no doubt that you and your family are in a lot of people's thoughts and prayers and Riv will live on through so many people that got to experience these past few months with you and your family. I cried for 10 minutes...then I laughed for 20. We love this family. We continue to pray and mourn with you. This is all for a reason. Doesn’t make sense at the moment, but it will one day. ❤️

Best wood to use is fluber yucken tree bark for smoke. To feed your bees is the bubba hamma oil and to get better gas mileage is to change the air in your tires each month. Don't forget to replace your blinker fluid often! Just some tips of better Bee Keeping.

I just started beekeeping this spring, bees are one of God’s most interesting and complicated creatures. They amaze me.

This is so interesting to watch. I’m very allergic to bee stings. The honey that is locally produced, is used for mine and our sons allergies. We start in the spring. Thank you for sharing this.

Well done on your hobby and its great to see. Dont worry about the "experts" thats why it is a hobby and you learn from it. That cut in the mesh would have caused the queen to escape hence why they hive died down. Keep up the great content it is appreciated.

I was at the Ft Smith show! It was great! I drove 3 hours to get there then found out there is a show at Frontier City tomorrow.....an hour from my house. Hahaha. But it was WORTH IT!

yep raised Bees for yrs,, the bees that make the honey is called worker bees not female, there is only one female and that is the queen. there are bees that protect the colony and the queen which are called soldier bees. the worker bees build the wax and produce the honey. it is the worker bee that is there to protect the hive and the honey. other than that you are doing good,.. just be careful not to get stung.

Granger a few tips you need another brood box on top of your first box you will get less swarms that way.. on the other hive you just had the bad luck of having to little room for the hive. the bugs you had in the dead hive was the wax moth and the larva of the wax moth.

Have you ever done a mite treatment? If not might want to look into it. One of the most common causes of bee death and disease.

I would throw the whole box away and completely start over... there really were roaches in that empty box, huh and looked like moldy as well, which means the wood is full of toxins, and touching that box you will have those spores on your clothes and stuff from touching that yucky box... Amber you mentioned that you guys were calm and weren't many buzzing around you.... the more anxious you get the sweaty you get our body produces pheromones and that activates the bees smell so come around you. YES we can hear all that buzzing was crazy.... Is there a bee farm around there so can have fresh local bee instead of ordering online... remember shop local!!

River Kelly Smith would've been 7 years old tomorrow but it was a very sad time that he drowned on June 6, 2019 at just only 3 years old.

Don't forget to medicate and treat them to keep them healthy. p.s. don't get a flow hive it's a waste of money and they r fake.And it's amazing that u r learning as u go.Thats how my dad learned and it has turned it into our main source of income.U need a grabber tool ( to grab the frames easier instead of using ur hands)btw u should still be feeding them sugar water and put lemongrass (3 drops) in there.Bees luuuuvvvvvv lemongrass.
