At the first your video look like you were trying to catch bait with the worm. Take that float off and run that worm up on the hook covering the hook, letting a little bit of it hang off the hook. Give it try. Cast in there without a sinker and watch your line and wait for the little hit, you have a greater chance catching bait fish bluegill, and so on without a float.
I fish for large chub minnows to use for muskie fishing. I figured out that the reason I wasn't hooking those chubs was because they were grabbing the part of the worm hanging down and pulling my bobber under. I pushed the worm up on the hook and that solved the problem. Been watching your videos for years and really enjoy them.
Or you can bend your hook more acute, that worm is slimy, if half lively, they will slide down the hook after being in the water for a while. Multiple hook points through the worm helps. They eve sell hooks with barbs specifically to hold worms on. Good luck 🐟💪
