My father did this for 30 plus years, he was a captain on fishing trawlers. He never wants to tell us how the life is out there because it’s not for the weak, kudos to these guys ❤

These indigenous people are Guyanese. While the other two race In Georgetown fight against each other, these people being content and finding ways to provide for their families. “One people, one nation, one destiny“ applies to them also. Thanks for sharing Captain and crew , this is real fisherman life. My father was fisherman about 43 years ago in the Corentyne region he always told me the things he experience falling overboard at night, stept on fish with spikes, or lightning strikes he never wanted us near water to experience this. Being days away at sea away from his family and sometimes no good catch. These were very tough times. Glad i could get a lil insight. Thanks for Sharing this on your channel Danny 👍🏽💯🤟🏾

They need to make special life jackets for these guys Fitted ones without buckles. The buckets can get entangled and pull there guys overboard which is also dangerous.

Yea bud fishing work is the hardest job there is ... I'm a fishermen right here in guyana so I could tell you how the struggle is ...sometimes we find it easy sometimes we fine it hard but at the end of the day we still have to work to maintain our family .... I've started working since I was 14 and I'm 28 years old now and I'm still working at sea because I love fishing ❤😊
