Matt you did a very good job of thinking fish into the box. Down sizing to that small black craw, fishing the deeper water due to the temp drop. Plus your time management was spot on. You walked up to the scales weighed your fish and they were handing out the runner up's checks at the same time you were getting your fish back from the scale! Keep up the tournies they are exciting to watch and you are definitely on a roll right now!

It's a cool way to learn for sure. Edit: the two baits that have killed it for me is a weightless Texas rigged yoto worm and a 1/8oz b&b chatterbait, both super shallow.

I've used that bait in similar conditions. Prime evening fishing, got bit a lot. didn't convert very well. To catch 5 fish in the time you did it in was amazing!!! Love the tournament videos, the element of pressure is perfect.

Tournament vids are great, super fun to watch. Love the competitive nature of them mixed with the fun factor. Only thing I can think of that would potentially make them better would be to have a fixed camera or two that would give you a full view of the deck so it's not just chest cam 100% of the time. Other than that they're great! Thanks for the content!

Like watching your videos, I started out with my best friend growing up fishing Jon boat tournaments. Had more fun fishing those than any other tournament. And your bait looked like a zoom Z hog. Stay safe out there on and off the water and keep the videos coming! Good luck tight lines. Semper Fi from an old Marine Edit: Just my 2 cents worth, you were catching them pretty good and for me if I'm catching them pretty good, 9 times out of 10 everyone else is catching them good to!!!! Great win and I commented about your bait before I finished watching the whole video. Sorry about that! Again great job on catching them and great video. Keep them coming, the Jon boat tournaments take me back to over 20 years ago when my best friend and I started fishing tournaments and we had a blast. It was called Pond Hoppers and you could only use a boat that was 14 and a half foot or smaller and your motor couldn't be no bigger than 15 hp. Alot of the lakes we fished was a 10 HP or less motor and usually only about 600 acres or less. We usually had 25 to 30 boats every derby and let me tell ya, just because some of those guys had Jon boats didnt mean they couldn't fish and it was some of the most fun and competitive derby's I ever fished. Tight lines.

Matty for another W! man's on a roll isn't he?I will say ,try and experiment with moving that peg up your line 12-16 inches so that bait can free fall behind it .I noticed I get alot more bites this time of year(pre spawn/spawn/post spawn) non pegged if your cover allows.Mess around with it .Also some of my biggest fish at dusk come on a small bluegill patterned crank(with rattle) usually on any rip rap or rock outcroppings you can find.bang it on the bottom and it's just a killer.love the tourney vids brutha

bro we watch for the tournament stuff. my favorite stuff is when you test out new tournament ways of presentation adding blades or weights or hooking backwards or whatever is the deal. we love to see it. When I used to work at the fishing shop and taught people to fish the main thing was just hit the water with a senko. so anything but that... which requires no skill.
