Nice bro! I find you don't need big rigs to tackle big snapper even off the rocks. With 15lbs braid, 20lbs fluro leader on a 4000 reel and 7ft rod standard rod gets them out easy peasy.
@ben p 15lb braid actually breaks at around 25-30lb, I only fish braid on all my gear, rocks/beach/boat.Not sure why anyone in this day and age would still use mono for anything, old school as bruh it’s like fishing with a rubber band, you catch waaaay more fish with braid because you can actually feel what is happening, has way less drag in the current, cast’s further, stronger, higher spool capacity.
