A another dream trip for the Kiwi lads, better to be out fishing than in lock down in Oz! The self torture entertainment at the end is always a puzzle. Don't know if Freud was into fishing, but he'd probably say it's atonement for unconscious guilt. Their aggression from the depths is consciously unacceptable/disturbing, so it creates guilt from fathoms deep, which their self punishment reduces. The meanings are entirely unconscious, on the surface it looks like entertainment...Jesus, I need to get out more.
