Well here we go again. Unlike those around us we never got the floods this time. Just plenty of dirty fresh water. After over five hours fishing all over the place, I ended up with a doughnut. Enjoy the journey.
Great to see you out on the water again fossil . being out on the lake and in the river just drifting about throwing a line is a joy not everyone gets to do . catching a fish for dinner is a bonus .more power to you mate!
Fabian I have seen the Harbour on the news and it still very brown. It will be about a month before the lake receives clear water. Unless we continue to get rain.
Hi champ In those conditions I tend to favour an incoming tide to take advantage of some cleaner water entering the system. Bright coloured lures can also be effective. Well that's what I find works for me in those conditions. Ive caught a few fish over the years. 😉👍
I agree with you. However on this day it was a run out all day. The lake is about three hours after the mouth. Whilst I did not check, past experience would indicates that the clear water would only get just past the Dunbogan Bridge at this part of the current weather event. Whilst conditions will not have changed much, plan on giving Sunday a go. Should be a run in for most of the morning in the river. Have seen your channel. Picked up some nice fish down there.
