We spent a couple days on Jekyll Island, Georgia for vacation and we tried to do some fishing and crabbing. Although we didn't have much luck, we still had a great time. It is hard to go somewhere brand new and find where to fish and a successful place to crab. I first had to remember how to throw my cast net. I haven't thrown it in about two years, so after a few ugly throws I got some bait. I used a product called Fishbites, along with some fish as bait with no luck. I also tried using chicken necks and rope, as well as a small crab trap. No luck with that either. The only real luck I had was catching a tiny, annoying catfish. Go figure.
