Definitely gave us a laugh too! Our daughters first hammock experience was at Port Orleans and pretty much had the same outcome as Nate! Who doesn’t have trouble though!!??!!

POR is our favorite resort ever! My son has always loved to fish there and Eddie at the fishin hole is a treasure. I was hoping to see him when you were there. Those Brussels sprouts are the best I have ever had! I literally was eating Brussels sprouts while I was watching this because I had just made them when this popped up on my screen. I have been craving them from PP but I have never been able to find a copycat recipe.

Sooooo many things I want to comment about. Fishing. Hammocks. Disney Springs. The Stanley Hudson shirt!!!!! The crumbs in the beard. But the best part of this video was the cruise down the Sassagoula River. That is one of my favorite, most relaxing things to do while staying at POFQ or SSR! 21:12 YAAASSSSSSSSS!!!!!! Outstanding video!

Port Orleans is so relaxing isn’t it? I didn’t realise this was here - it looks a great idea! Back in the day you could rent a boat from the dock and drive yourself down this route - that was such a relaxing thing to do. I hope they bring that back someday.

Nate, the first time you showed this my wife said it was a must-do! Back in December 2021, I took her to Disney for her 50th to celebrate with Magic Kingdom turning 50. We spent a day at Disney Springs, took your advice, and did Ragland Road one night, and the day we left we went to the Polite Pig. The Butcher board was amazing, and now seeing this video we are ready to partake again!! Maybe one day we can tell you hello as you serenade your food!

I have been known to flip over with hammock entry. Tip: sit in the middle of the hammock, like you would on a chair. With those with bars on eiher side, get your tusch as far into middle as you can. Then just lean back and swing your legs on to the hammock in one motion. Happy relaxing!

We have done a fishing excursion in Gulf Shores and loved it.AWESOME experience.Get a group of friends together and fish all day.They bait the hook and take the fish off for you all you have to do is reel it in.The excursion we went on even cleaned the fish for us and spread it out between us!!

We’ve done the pole fishing a couple of times. Never caught a fish but good fun. Whenever I hear Miley Cyrus singing Party In the USA i am reminded of the Port Orleans Riverside boat journey pulling up to Disney Springs. So glad to know it’s still playing. The US pandemic travel has prevented us from visiting for 2 years. So looking forward to returning this summer.

I love brussel sprouts and those look good. I love your food reviews and that we get to see you eat. I’m always a fan of getting to see a reaction to someone actually eating versus just showing the food. We are taking our girls this summer for my daughter’s 13th birthday as a surprise. Me again. So, I just couldn’t get my mind off the jalapeño cornbread you had at the Polite Pig. I found a great recipe online and we had some with our supper tonight. My Dad, my Son, and myself went fishing at Port Orleans too. We also got skunked, but we made fantastic memories. My Son loved seeing all the turtles. POR is our favorite resort. Love your videos!

New ride at Disney World, "Hammock Adventures". :) Stange for us, with all the rides at the parks, I think we enjoyed the boat ride from Old Key West over to Disney Springs as much. So relaxing. And yes, we are going to the Polite Pig after watching this great video.

We are from the U.K. and my husband is an angler, we’ve done the fishing excursions at CBR twice as a family and he’s done the Bass fishing solo once, enjoyable for all ages, best to go early morning while it’s cooler. The guides are incredible!

Thank you for including your adventure with the hammock! Here is a tip to try next time. Back into the swing, grab the end and sit slowly first as much in the middle as possible. Then move one leg onto the hammock, steady yourself first, then pull your other leg as you lie back. Port Orleans resorts are my favorite moderates!
